You are always so organized! I don't have an Ipad (I can barely use a mobile phone!), but I use that bag for my airplane comfort kit. The last two flights I took, I paid extra for bulkhead seats, and there is no real seat pocket or seat in front of you for your carry on, but that waterproof zippered bag fit in the tiny magazine pocket on the bulkhead. That big folding desk lamp is brilliant!!
Thank you so much, Jen 🙏💕 I have been using that folding dust lamp for years, and I have not found one better that I like and this is sturdy and stands up on his own and I highly recommended!😊
Okay, so yes. I'm addicted to your channel. And, dagnabit, I think I need a couple more items you've shown here today. I don't know where or when I'll need to use that foldable & rechargeable desk lamp, but I *swear* that I need it. LOL! I can also use that little adapter kit / wallet that's so well organized. And FYI, From one of your previous videos, I purchased the Flat Dual Charging Plug and absolutely love it! Thank you for sharing all these great gadgets and organization skills. You're the BEST 🥰
Thank you so much and I’m so sorry that I am fueling your addiction! But we are in the same boat! I really wasn’t sure about the desk lamp when I first bought it but I have even used it when I’ve done some crochet sitting in front of the TV when we don’t have a lot of light on, but I just want a little bit of light on my work, and this works perfectly! So, if you need any reasons to justify that purchase, I’m happy to give it to you🤣😂
@@TheoryofSimple No worries, I wouldn't be here if I didn't love what you do for all of us out here in Travel-Land. I expect to be away from home a lot this year. I need all your awesome tips. 😍
I love the Travelon iPad bag. I used it on my last long haul trip as my seat necessities pouch. You would have been proud of how much I put in that little pouch. Face wipes and disposable Colgate Wisps for bedtime along with tissues, a little folded trash bag, a pen, very slim notepad, phone, 3-prong charging cable, slim battery, Kindle and, of course, my iPad. It made things so easy and convenient after lights out. No need to go fumbling in my backpack and disturb my neighbor.
I wish you could see the smile on my face right now! I love how organized you were on that trip and thank you so much for sharing that! 😊💕 by the way, I found some new pre-paced toothbrushes that are better than the wisps so I’ll be making a short on that very soon😊
Can’t wait to find out about the new toothbrushes. My PillPack refill meds come in paper bags that look like airplane “barf bags” complete with the foldable closure tabs. So I remove all identifying information and save them to use as travel trash bags. Another great tip from you!
@@reneenospam I’ll be doing a video on those toothbrush items soon and I love your idea about the prescription medicine bag! Are yours plastic lined so that they don’t leak?😊
You always have the best packed bags! You can fit so much into so little! I really appreciate the links to the items you show. I saw a couple things I want to check out for gift ideas!
Thank you so much! I am a little bit like Mary Poppins when I pack but it’s usually because I’m traveling for work and pleasure at the same time, so I always have to take a lot of stuff and I learned to just be like Mary Poppins! 😊💕 I think a couple of these things like that light stand are just so handy to have if you have a work office on the road😊
❤❤❤...I adore your channel! Always so practical and organized. I purchased the travel vest you'd featured on another recent video and took it with me overseas...Brilliant! And it looks great. I think I'll have to purchase that light and Tripped bag :-)
Thank you so much! Your comment makes it totally worth all the research I have to do to try these products out before I recommend them! I think you will be very happy with the light and the bag! 💕😊
Always appreciate your wonderful travel hacks. I truly appreciate you sharing everything with us. Thank you so much. I enjoy your videos. Safe travels as always ❤.
Thanks! I always get cool ideas to upgrade my traveling gizmo kit from your videos. Definitely going to get that iPhone stand & USB adapter kit. To replace the one I have that half the connectors in it are no longer in use (same size). Being retired I don’t really need a laptop anymore so I got a Logitech keyboard & case for my iPad. It’s a little more bulky than other keyboards available at the time I got this iPad, but it offers so much more protection with its hard case (bonus, it fits in outside pocket that zips up on my CPAP case which as a medical device doesn’t count as a carry-on, whether means I can do one of those other bags you showed in other videos for my other carry-ons). I was very disappointed in the Apple keyboards for iPad so glad there are few other good alternatives. On usb-c chargers 🔌 I got from Anker fast charging cube that prongs fold back into it along with a usb-c lightning connector rapid chargers cable. One nice thing about Anker cables is they come with a thin strip of Velcro attached for tying up the cable. When the cable is uncoiled & in use I use that Velcro to tie it to any other cables as a way to bunch the cords together. These gizmo kits are ever a work in progress. PS: just back from an overnight visit to friends where we initially traveling light. In my CPAP case I always carry a 6-10’ power extension cord with a prong 🔌 on one end & 3 outlets on the other for those times there isn’t an outlet next to bed for CPAP. 95% of time you don’t need it, but when you do you do. But it was nice to have a power extension cord. And I stashed the Anker cube cord in an open space available in that CPAP case. This got me thinking that with a little more effort I could put a minimalist charging kit in that case very easily… having it where my iPad is stashed makes sense to me.
Thank you so much and I’m really happy you. Got some great products to help you supplement your wonderful electronics kit.! I do carry an extension cord with me, but not in that particular pack. I sometimes just put it in my suitcase to have as a safety net.😊
I would love that lamp, but only if it had a daylight setting on it. I do Native American beadwork and I need to distinguish between colors of super tiny beads. So I will take a look and see if the updated model has a daylight setting, My biggest problem though is two laptops and an iPad Pro 11. One PC and one Mac. The PC runs scientific software that the only runs on a PC.
Yeah, I’m not sure if it has a daylight setting on that lamp. But I understand why you need it and regarding the computer yeah, sometimes you just need to bring more than one because of the different uses.😊
Thank you so much! Part of it is I’ve been traveling for 40 years and working for over 20 of those and sometimes I just buy things and try them out. There is a lot of research involved in this, and that’s what takes the most time usually😊
Ever since I got the Samsung fold I've been able to ditch my laptop and kindle. Now, I can have a folding keyboard and Microsoft arc mouse and they've would fit in a single pocket (not that I keep them there). I haven't needed it yet but if I need a screen a portable one can easily fit in a small backpack. The triple folding and/or rolling screens are going to be a game changer
I used to carry an additional screen with me that would hook up to my laptop but what I found was I wasn’t able to arrange my desk as freely as if I just had two separate devices. I also find that I would use the tablet most of the time but there are sometimes when you just need to be on a desktop and so that’s why I carry both and it gives me two screens as well as two different types of devices for versatility.😊
