This is making herm ore balanced and is a step in the right direction. Unlike some games where they will nerf charactrs/cards/abilities etc to the ground, fade will still be able to do everything she already does. The point of the prowler is to check for enemies and hit them if they do not shoot back.
She can still send them out super fast though and if used right can clear almost an entire site with both. She can also pop them very fast at players around corners and etc rendering them unable to do anything since they auto lock on and have hp. I think if she only had one with her 5.9 mechanics she would be way more balanced but still powerful in the right hands

If they had timer lets say Enemy Fade scans me on ascent A while I am holding Tree, I get first frag while getting scanned and then run for my life to heaven while Fade sends prowler, I have headstart and can kite it until it runs out by which time I can be nearly in Heaven to retake or loop back tree and get frag there. This might be pushed a little far but it paints the picture and then I ask you what was the use of that prowler ? Fade did everything correctly and I should be punished for not hiding from scan but that Prowler fizzled on the way to heaven which can even give false info that I am heaven while in truth I am in tree. On top of that all maps have different sizes while that duration can be perfectly tuned for one map to a point where its not infinite but also doesnt work against its caster on other maps that are smaller it will feel like its infinite while on some prowler will be the most disadvantageous piece of utility for giving fake info. If lets say I was tasked with fixing prowlers I would make it so that its shorter as they did in this patch which means less ground is covered without trail set up, bite delay also seems like the right direction and lets say your trail gets picked by prowler I would give targeted player warning sign on the screen that he is target and needs to get ready for it. I wouldnt touch prowlers speed nor its HP as it already is ez to destroy unless using pistol maybe I would increase cost to 300 per prowler but rest is just the fault of targeted player if you get combo scan and prowler A you can expect it and B many and I mean many times haunt gets destroyed and gives you basically on attack the obvious info oh yeah there is at least one guy on site but guess where. Her Haunt alone isnt enough to carry her kit and seize is just bonus ngl. Ult is nice but it doesnt show outlines of the players and also haunt has limited range so big maps are hard to play effectively. I am not advocating here that Fade should vbe kept OP and whatever but I am also strictly against extreme approach of nerf the hell out of the character to a point where no one wants to play it and then remember that we have him few months later. I welcome Riot to add higher skill ceiling to Fade but I want this simple equation to work more I play with the character more effective I am not getting held back by limits imposed on me bc players dont like facing her and dont want to deal with her. I put 200h into learning combos, lineups, bungies, clearing patters, ult spots, synergies with other agents, maps etc that all is on top of aim training vod review and positioning training. I picked Fade not bc of how op she is hell when she came out majority thought she wont match Sova but I like her versatility and playstyle where I can be rewarded for skill by clutching or carrying, she can play for the team or play for herself and get info no other agent suited me in this regard and I think it is understandable why I am like others concerned about people pushing it too far and rendering her useless. Who do you suggest to play for me then to suit my playstyle ? If all Fade mains switch to said agent will you ask to nerf that agent too ? Why should I be punished by the community that I was willing to put 200h into Fade ? @@ifrostreaper8673 If you like playing her that's not bad, I feel what you say because I have like 600 hours with Cypher and Killjoy, I main Strongholders (Kj, Cypher, Viper) but with the release of Chamber I only play Kj on Ascent, and Chamber on all the other maps. Unlike KJ and Cypher, Chamber is a no brainer, you don't have to learn anything to use him, just good aim and that's all, and that's really frustrating considering all my time spend on learning KJ and Cypher setups on every map... That's kinda the problem with Fade and Sova, no matter how many hours you put on Fade, she's not as skill-required as Sova. Sova's learning courve it's really big; specific shockdarts to counter enemy's trips, drones that can clean the entirety of a site, the ult requires use of the drone or a recon arrow to use properly. Fade it's not like that, she can throw her prowlers just with her ult and they'll do the entire job by themselves. She can scan an enemy and the prowlers are going to do the job by themselves, and even if they spot you they are going to follow you to eternity unless you either kill or tank them. That leaves Fade to a state where a low skill player can pretty much just spam ultil and be rewarded for being just braindead and throwing everything because the prowlers almost work by themselves. Yes there are good Haunts lineups, people will expect them, the seize it's ok but in my previous comment all I talked about was the prowlers and their HP+Speed+combined leaves you a really small window to break them without exposing to where they are coming from, also the fact that they are two and work by themselves with the ult and the haunt it's just stupid, literally requires no skill, just util spam (exactly what I was talking about with Chamber and KJ/Cypher, Chamber doesn't requires skill, just good aim) a good Fade player of course it's impressive and impacfull, but other than haunt and seize lineups there's nothing else where you can work on with her. Ok as a non fade player the prowler nerfs are okay. You probably have never been chased by an aggressive fade player who's dropping two prowlers on ur ass, wasting ur bullets, only to jump peek and get a midair headshot as usual. Eh... didn't do anything to her at all other than her Ult. +0.2 second duration of biting the enemy is pretty small especially if they're already marked. The Prowler duration is pretty much infinite vs marked targets. Also TP Agents like Yoru and Chamber will be happy at fighting her face to face 😈.
As a Fade main I feel this is not going to hurt a lot except for ult

You probably have never been chased by an aggressive fade player who's dropping two prowlers on ur ass, wasting ur bullets, only to jump peek and get a midair headshot as usual. How about buffing Sova back again so people don't use Fade everytime? That nerf wasn't even necessary, Fade was already strong enough to contend with Sova. People are really just too busy crying over getting killed by lineups that they can counter by just looking the hell up
