I love the Baratheon armor and antler helmet.
In the books the great houses always had armour that reflected their sigils. Was annoying that the original GOT show cut that out for cost.
It was looking ok, but it didn't sit well with how Baratheons are depicted in the books. Laughing storm was big. In the show, his armor slim, fits his body, but makes him look small. I think someone else should've played Baratheon.

@raerth Yeah the book characters have really fantastical, colourful armour which I wish they had put in the show. Like Ramsay Snow has this crazy black and red suit of armour with a helm that makes his face look like the tongue of a screaming face, with a pink cloak that looks like skin. Or Victarion whose armour is decorated with krakens including the helm which has metal tentacles that wrap down to his neck. The later seasons of the show just had everyone in black leather or fur and grey steel. Even the Golden Company looked drab and boring, and they're supposed to be the flashiest, most resplendent army in the world.
I LOVE how they’re portraying Dunk. Whole episode he looked like he was about to vomit out of the terror of what’s happening to him. Love love love it

I love medieval shows about Chivalry. Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon are just about high lords and nobles backstabbing each other to try to get ahead of the other houses. This is about knights fighting for honor and glory. It's about courage and protecting the innocent. What a change. And it's from the perspective of a low born as well. I love it.
What are you even saying. I don't care for HOD but GOT was great when it came to Battle of the Bastards and when John went North to save the wildings in Harmhold. Those were epic fights/battles.

Maybe if you took a giant wheelhouse and stopped at every single town, inn, or castle it would take a month. A small party of Knights on horse could do it in less than 2 weeks at a leisurely pace.

I didn't think George's stories would ever be properly delivered on screen again. House of the Dragon didn't convince me. But this show just keeps me yearning for more. I guess I'd rather cry about episodes being too short than 1 hour long episodes that feel like filler.
