The beauty of Makati is the tropical landscape and the cool art . They should plant more tropical plants like the palm trees and big leafy plants and put more art. PHils is in a beautiful region in the world that makes it so lush and green and its island geography and topography fills it with wild coconut trees that makes it so pretty to look at. It should be called the Coco Republic. Make it a truly a modern tropical city oasis. If only the locals would see that treasure and not thrash the nature and beauty of the place.

Worked there for 4 years. I still prefer Makati over BGC. More accessible & better-looking buildings. And has a mix of everything. I miss Makati & enjoyed my days there years ago. But after working in many other beautiful cities around the world, Singapore, Dubai, Sydney & now NYC, I’m never going back to Makati... 😅

It's because area wise Metro Manila is small compared to those respective cities and also Metro Manila is denser and congested, so they have to make everything smaller , look at Tokyo their inner streets are also narrow and tiny but clean and That's why remove half the population of Metro Manila and stop having too many babies only one or replacement level to help ease with traffic , pollution and make the city more livable.
More authentic than BGC. Always Ayala, Makati the standard of a good metro life in Greater Manila. It is not so expensive, but definitely not so cheap ( purita neighbors lol ).
