In the age of Covid-19, I can't help but see the lyrics of this song in a new light. Alex Turner is a lyrical wizard
Especially now that America is finally prioritizing the apocalypse.
This album will age like fine wine believe that
He's lyrically off his tits lol
OF COURSE, when we get rlly old we will enjoy this last albums w all the energies possible.
You mean the age of foolishness, yea comfort yourself in the next fabricated crisis. The only thing I can agree with is the genius of Alex Turner. But didn’t need the flu to tell me that.

If this album were a movie, this would be the part in which the main character realizes the hotel is actually there to distract people from the important shit going on in what's left of society that he should probably stop; and the reason he doesn't seem to want to leave is because everyone's locked inside (and nobody else seems to realize it but him). He's there in the armchair in 'his' private suite, liquor bottles leaned up against the furniture and strewn about, the official Tranquility Base soundtrack playing on an old record player. He wonders why he hasn't heard this song until now.
That explanation pretty much sums up hotel California by the eagles

Such a great album. So tired of the “fan base” whining about not liking this album simply because they expected something else. But as an album TBH&C is beautiful, sophisticated, layered and downright sexy. Love this song, Star Treatment, 4 out of 5 and Ultracheese.
Yes, my 3 favorites songs of the album

i feel like I'm in a huge casino, drinking shots here and there, playing games, flirting with girls and having fun when listen to there songs. Its impressive how they can keep a consistent vibe throughout the songs, like each one of them was designed to be played in those occasions.

SIAS: sitting somewhere with your girl and watch together the sunrise.

ITS HAPPENINGGGGG
It’s been almost 5 years since this album came out and I still listen to it regularly. Especially this song. There’s just something so gripping about the laid back bassline and synths, the sometimes serious sometimes whimsical lyrics, the way it can paint a picture of the scene at TBHC. Concept albums are my favorite kind of album and TBHC knocked it out of the ballpark for me. I first listened to this album when I was a teen, but I suspect I will be listening to it well into my Adult life (I’m almost 23). It’s that perfect to me. I could write an essay on this album no joke, hell, I’ve ranted to my friends a whole essay about this album.
