The concurrent video game version of _Wheel of Fortune_ had no Pat Sajak or Vanna White present for the same reason.
That whole thing about mashing and being unable to ring it is an actual thing in jeopardy. If you mash the button too fast or too early, it locks you out for a few seconds.

They didn't even try to get sound alikes. I recommend playing Clue Classic and Double Dragon Kunio Kun Collection (specifically Dodgeball). Those are a lot of fun.
That's Ubisoft in a nutshell. They sterilize EVERYTHING nowadays. If one of the execs were to write a memoir, he would make the title and cover as bland and corporate as possible.
Also, you can tell how screwed up this video game is at portraying Jeopardy when it has freakin' multiple choice answers. Everyone knows you are supposed to make up the answer.

This game has the aesthetic of an online lobby. Kinda clickbait-y to use the same thumbnail you used for the previous two videos which were using the much more visually interesting 360/PS3 Jeopardy.
I'm ngl, what's with these kinds of games just looking less appealing with newer versions. Life is a bit more debatable between the current and Ps1 versions, but then this just cuts off the scenary and personality of the show and just makes it about the quiz. You essentially have less of the game for the sake of being faster? Idk :/
