Cute - just wish the hair part was included in the tutorial
Yes I agree! Sometimes I really don't see the camera. But I am getting better on shooting! So these mistakes wont happen again!
@@LittleCrochetFarm You're doing just fine!🤗💝
@@bluerosecrystalsoul Thank you!!
I cut 2 inch yarn pieces, and used my hook to pull it thru on the very last round before I sewed him up ,and I knotted each one .I added about 3 to one side ,and other then sewed him up , and then took a fine tooth comb and combed out the yarn till it was nice ,and fluffy . I hope this makes sense ,and you are able to do it 😁 I suck at writing directions .
Easy to follow. I love the way the arms are put on, no sewing after!
Thank you! Yes, crocheting together is a great way to avoid sewing!

My happy Grinch will be going in my daughter's Christmas stocking 😊
Wow! I am so happy to read that! Your first time following a tutorial! It will be great for a Christmas stocking! Big surprise for your daughter! 🎅❤🎅❤🎅❤
What did you use for the mouth and eyes? What kind of yarn and needle?
I use black thread, kind of the one you would use for cross stitch. And sewing needle.
How did you make the loop in order to hang from Christmas tree ?
To make the loop for hanging, take a piece of any yarn (for mine I took some golden thread ❤️) and insert it on the top of the head (with some 2 stitches distance from where you insert it to where it comes out). Then, make a tight knot. After you tight, the knot, pull a little bit the thread, so the knot with the edges will get inside the toy and will not be seen! I hope this was clear! For this year's Christmas collection, I will shoot this part as well. Thank you for the question!
I bought the pattern but it also doesn’t show the hair part. I have no idea how to anchor the ‘hair’
Hello Serena! Yes, it does not show you how to. And here for this video, I had a problem while shooting the ending but, you can take a look at this patter ruclips.net/video/O27k44i4pJ8/видео.htmlsi=a_9pVYalcQxCncmr from minute 16:03
Is the same way I attach the Grinch hair! I hope this helps! ❤️
Hello. I'm trying to make one .if it turns out. I will make 2or 3 for tree
Hello Deb! He is a vicious little Grinch! I see people here making many of him! I hope you enjoy it!
Could you please explain how to do the hair so it doesn't fall out or come out. Many thanks x
Hey Jan, for this little hair, cut a couple of small strings and fold it in half.
Insert the needle in a stitch from the head, pull the center of this yarn string inside the stitch. You will have now a loop on the needle, pull the ends of this yarn string inside the loop. Pull tightly the yarn ends to secure the strands. Once you add a couple of them, use a embroider needle to open the yarn fuzzy, and cut it on the finished size you want!
I hope is clear! It is the easiest way of adding yarn. If you cant understand, I will find a tutorial on RUclips that uses the same technique. Let me know!
@@LittleCrochetFarm many thanks I'll give that a go.
Ana, I just this minute finished my adorable mini Grinch! I loved the pattern! I used #4 cotton yarn that I had on hand first. Now I'm waiting for sport yarn to be delivered I just need to better understand the hair! The final closure at the top is so tight and can't find any actual stitches to connect the yarn strands! Also, how many different strands did you use?
Hey Susan, I think I used about 10 strands of yarn. Not too many of them because when you open the plys of the yarn, it gets fuzzy and full. That is the result we are looking for. The head top is very tight, but I use a crochet needle to introduce the strands. If is too tight for you, you can use an embroidery needle to help you out! ❤️
Thank you! I did it! He came out quite cute! I’d love to post a pic as a positive review. Where can I do that?
What size crochet hook should be used?
Hey Debi! A 1.75 or 2mm hook. You can find the list of materials in the free written pattern here littlecrochetfarm.com/grinch-free-amigurumi-christmas-ornament/
Me encanta..!! Puedes subtitulos en español...gracias
Im sorry Margarita, but my Spanish is very limited 😳
Love it do you sale them I would love one if you sale them
Oh! No... I just make the patterns.. 😔❤️
I forgot to shoot the hair pieces. I am sorry!
But it's very simple! I just cut a couple of yarn pieces (size about 7cm) and I tight them on the last round of the head. Then, with the tapestry needle, I open the strings of the yarn, so the hair gets fuzzy. To finish, cut the hair in a nice shape!
Super!!! ❤️❤️
How do you add the hair?
I just did a knot with little pieces of yarn and put it into the head before I closed it. So the knot is inside and the hair comes out. Idk if you can do it that way but for me it worked
Pardon me, but the written instructions for the scarf say repeat 7 times. I cannot change colors without having all these tails! Is there a better way??? BC I am done with trying to make this Grinch and his scarf!!!
Hey Nancy! Yes, there is a much easier way!
You don't need to cut the yarn every time you do a color change!
If you watch the video from minute 12:11 to 14:42, you will see I don't cut the yarn, only at the end of the scarf.
¡No sé cómo funciona! ¡Pero me alegro de que puedas hacerlo! (estoy usando el traductor de Google)
What size yarn are you using plz?
3ply. Mondial basic cotton is the brand
@@LittleCrochetFarm thank you for quick reply I'll go and see if I can find it.
How to do the hair?

Insert the needle in a stitch from the head, pull the center of this yarn string inside the stitch. You will have now a loop on the needle, pull the ends of this yarn string inside the loop. Pull tightly the yarn ends to secure the strands. Once you add a couple of them, use a embroider needle to open the yarn fuzzy, and cut it on the finished size you want!

How do I get part 1
Hey Nancy! All the tutorial parts are linked in the description of the videos! But I will leave it here for you as well: ruclips.net/video/0JuCkNUANu4/видео.html

Are you okay with people selling the finished product/toy as long as you are credited for the pattern? Thank you!!
Hey! Yes! You can sell your finished items made with any of my patterns and credit me for the pattern! I wish you thousands of sales!!!
Hi first of all I love love all of your tutorials...I would like to know the name of the color for Grinch..I'm 💬 Ng 'sage'. Going to hobby lobby tomorrow, thank you and keep those tutorials coming. Have a wonderful day from your friend in Miami.
Thank you for your kind words Jane! For this Grinch, I worked with the brand Mondial, and the color is 165 - basic cotton. I hope you can find it in Hobby lobby because Mondial doesn't sell online, unfortunately!
@@LittleCrochetFarm Ah ok gracias 😊
I love this pattern but i am confused on how to make the hair 😅
Yeah... common problem. I'm sorry... I had a recording problem with the ending but, you can watch this video ruclips.net/video/O27k44i4pJ8/видео.htmlsi=g1YfA6v47ijjoVMw from minute 16:01 is the same way! ❤️ I think will clarify for you!
thanks so much, it was very helpful! it makes me want to make an elephant now.. 😂@@LittleCrochetFarm
My gosh.I have problem attaching the arms.have problem with the stitches 🙄
There are a couple of reasons, mainly because your starting stitch for the round might be in a different position than mine. What you can do to solve this is to adapt round 17 by marking the 4 stitches in the central part of his body. This should be the distance between one arm to another. This way you know if you need to crochet together with the arms before or after what is written in the pattern.
Or, a very easy way to solve this is, not to crochet the arms together. And finish the Grinch. Once you are done, you sew the arms in a position that looks symmetrical to you!
I hope this helps!
IDK how to do the hair. I spent hours making this to only not have have any hair for him. :(
Me too! I can't figure out how she did it. A post recording would help
Hey, I had a problem when recording the ending but, you can watch this video ruclips.net/video/O27k44i4pJ8/видео.htmlsi=g1YfA6v47ijjoVMw from minute 16:01
Is the same technique and the same way to add the Grinch hair. I hope this clarify for you! ❤️
@@LittleCrochetFarm Thank you! I managed to do something but I like the way you have your done better. I love him so much I am going to make another one.

I've made this, except the hair. Please Help my grinch has no hair 😂
#editted : I've made the hair. But I don't think it's secure😆
Oh yes, I made the mistake of not filming the hair.
