Jonathon Givony at ESPN locks his big board behind a paywall while only providing a small fraction of the detail and analysis that Hoop Intellect gives us for free in these videos--by far the best NBA draft projection content available online!
The attention to detail is insane. The honorable mention section alone showcases how serious your knowledge is. Murray-Boyles, Humichrous, Clifford, Crawford ... no one else out there is spotlighting these dudes. Keandre does his homework.
Love the content, format, deep takes, and your big board!!! You break down every prospect short and to the point and even have every prospect's birthday while breaking down their video... Always look forward to your boards/mocks!!! Thanks again!!!
Ayyyy! Great to see an American who's moved Johnny Furphy into the lottery! I'm an Australian hoops nerd, so I've been watching Furphy's progress closely for the past few years. This Aussie kid is an absolute jet, and he's looked excellent playing for the NBA Global Academy here in Australia for the past couple of years. I knew he'd be this good in college once he got the chance.... so it's great to see he's finally getting the recognition I've been waiting to see for the past couple of years. My NBA comparison for Johnny Furphy's ceiling is a young Gordon Hayward/young Joe Ingles hybrid. Unfortunately, NBA fans never got to see YOUNG Joe Ingles, but he was a 6'8" bouncy SG/SF with LOOOONG arms, a good passer, good shooter, disruptive defensively, and he would dunk on everyone that wasn't paying attention. You'd be surprised how athletic Ingles was in his early 20s! Sounds like Furphy, right??? 😅😅
Great video, but Johnell Davis needs to be on the list at least. An efficient 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists, in a better conference than last year
if the Spurs can land Ron Holland with their pick in this draft and then get the Toronto pick and get Dillingham then my god how do you even deal with that lineup in a few years if/when they all develop.
@@JetHoops can't remedy the issues with Topics defense, shot creation and shooting, last thing the Spurs need is a lead guard who hurts their spacing and reduces the potential options of a PnR with Vic, a guy like Rob makes it impossible to guard completely with his shooting, improved PnR capability and renewed selflessness. Spurs also just need an elite POA defender at the 3 to throw at the best players in the league, especially the quicker guards Sochan can't keep up with and also a transition threat to help compliment Vic already being the best transition big in the league hence getting Ron with their first pick.
I haven’t watched much of hollins but I love dillingham and would love if we got him and any of these top wings. Cody Williams cuz from France are my favorite wings
Thank you for giving my Pistons something to look forward to, lol. Our seasons haven’t been great, but at least I know we’ll have another chance at an exciting prospect, ha.
How is Juan Nuñez not even in the top 60? He is averaging 10/4/5 in 48% from the field. His shots from 3 haven't been falling recently but he has proven to be able to shoot around 34-35% from there.
I’m with everyone in the comments. This is prospect gold content that is so hard to find so we appreciate you giving this to us geeks out there that love to research young talent🙏
A month ago Furphy wasn't even top 100. A few good games and he's now #13. This is how u know scouts follow others more than they evaluate for themselves.
Where is CSU's Isaiah Stevens? He's averaging 16.5 points and leads the nation in assists while also being a good defender for his size. I know him only being 6'1 will definitely make teams skeptical but I think a team like the suns or the lakers could really use a good, more traditional point guard to come off of the bench for them.
Small change but I would much rather watch you go 1-60 rather than 60 to 1. Way hard to digest that way going from worst to best. Saying this guy is a little worse than this guy. You should definitely go 1-60. Just my thoughts! Love the channel!
Don’t sleep on Zyon Pullin from Florida. He’s an older prospect, but he’s been the ultimate leader since transferring in from UC Riverside. 6’4 at 205lbs PG. 10th in the SEC in scoring, 2nd in assists, 1st in assist-to-turnover ratio and shoots 40% from deep. Certainly not the sexy choice, but he deserves to be up there as an honorable mention, at least.
Elite analysis im with you on Ron holland he’s easily top 5 the only ranking I don’t understand is JaKobe Walter being barely in front of Furphy, i would say Walter is a better prospect than Castle & Reed 100%
😴 On Cody Williams he should go number one…. JDub was slept on now look. Both of them idolize Kobe and Mamba mentality and JDub is SGA’s protégé this matters in this case I’m confident Cody will have the proper work ethic and training to maximize his game and athletic abilities. Ppl who overanalyze his college tape will regret it it’s not always about that, pure potential and realistic projections of growth to stardom are more important and he has all the physical tools, maturity, and surrounding support to achieve it
@@smoothhoops3739 The Thunder were awful before JDub arrived and now they are great that’s not a coincidence in my opinion and now he knows all SGA’s secrets too and can share with his bro. Long term even if he ends up on the Pistons and it takes a bit I believe in Cody figuring it out
Thoughts on whether the 'modern NBA game' is impacting the type of players that are coming up in the draft... it seems like shooting is weak overall and we only have a few actual PGs to choose from.
Jared McCain will shock people because of this. Everyone is all over the place with this draft don’t be surprised if the draft is way off from most mock drafts. Bro here did a pretty good job think he’s too high on Nikola dude is like a taller Ricky rubio to me. But everyone scouts different. Don’t believe I seen Carlton on his list either.
This really does seem like the type of draft where you'd rather have two mid-late lottery picks rather than a top three pick. No one really stands out at a guaranteed star (though my favorites are Stephon Castle and Matas Buzelis). The Spurs have their own pick plus the Raptors pick (protected 1-6), so I like their chances to get two lottery picks to surround Victor with passing and shooting.
Honestly as a Duke fan I have lost faith in flip being a great nba prospect, he disappears against other nba talent, his athleticism is awful, and his perimeter skills aren’t at the level where I’d say he will warrant a number one option. I feel like his game is eerily similar to frank kaminsky coming out of college and I just don’t see a situation where flip provides an elite skill. I could just be overreacting to a slow stretch but I’ve been disappointed in his play. (Also hunter silias might be the steal of the draft)

Obligatory post for how incredible the quality of your content is, well done sir, my respect
This deserves way more views. Had to comment for the algorithm
Why is Jalen Johnson breaking down college prospects to me you got a game on Friday bro!!lock in!
😂😂😂…You Gotta Be Stopped
it’s a good day when hoop intellect posts
Gonna have to bump up Tyler Smith, Devin Carter, and especially Daron Holmes on the final board! (also Isaiah Crawford!)
best bball channel on youtube! I'm always excited when your videos drop! keep up the great work

One of the best at analyzing prospects and draft classes, hope the best and that you become big

one of my favourite channels on youtube no doubt, u deserve to be so much bigger to match ur knowledge of the game
Really knowledgeable guy. Really good insight. Awesome.
Finally Daron Holmes in the late first you have a great eye for talent.

I like 2024 draft with gaurds..its pretty deep with gaurds and a few good centers..
I don't get what more could you want from kelal we're his maybe wil be in the lottery
44% from 3 is wild
another banger by keandre
Keandre don’t missss
Post March madness, this list will drastically change.
Personal Favs = Zach Edey, Alex Sarr and Dalton K

Wizards getting Sarr/Cody + McCain would make me happy
And Furf is already a big time start up mogel! He already has his own brand of beer in Aust!
Your kidding?!
Finally Mogbo gets some attention
Terrance Shannon Jr not even in Honourable Mentions is criminal
Pelle Larsson!
Pls do Trey Alexander
Good vid
what happened to riley kugel
Nice jersey bro!
Need my nuggets to trade up to get Devin Carter. He is a dog
Yoooo
Why isnt rj davis on the board
To old and game doesn’t translate to the nba
I would stay away from G-league & OTE guys. Idk what it is but they just haven’t done well at the next level
Thompson bros are good for rookies. Smaller Shaun Marion.
@@trollbrochina they’ve struggled a lot imo. To be fair any rookie would struggle on this Pistons team
OKC draft Furphy and Ryan dunn please
There is a decent chance they don't have two picks. They may not even have one, if the Rockets get lottery luck again.
Why do you give so much emphasis to scoring and shooting?
I see your face clearly first time, does somebody ask you are like Jalen Johnson ? Hahahaha
Mark Sears gotta be at least a HM
Let's get it...!!!!
Sorry bro you had me up until I saw DJ Wagner over dudes LOL no way an NBA GM would agree hes better then most of those guys ranked behind him 🤓
This the only draft that i feel like no team benefits from these players
No big Z in draft class is crazy...only reason he came to America so he get to nba 😅
Mogbo!
This draft is one of the worst in a good while
Xavian lee at least hm
Bobi Klintman🥹😫🤤

All these guys are thin cause they’re still kids, can’t really put a knock on them because of that rn
This draft class idk not that good
Rob is going to be a star
yes
Yup him next to wemby and nikola gonna be amazing next year
I love the Ron Holland at #2. So many mock drafts sleeping on him.
I think Dilingham will be great

Amazing breakdown! I enjoyed this one a whole lot
Juan nuñez is a 1st rounder bro... you have him out of top 60
No Coleman Hawkins at least should be on the Honorable Mention list
i hope the hornets get matas or zach or holland w brandon miller
I hope that one of Knecht or Furphy is on the board when my Magic pick
As a KU fan would selfishly love furphy back a second year to bulk up and improve his defense but seems unlikely at this point
Jesus is King!
The draft king! Best draft coverage and analysis around, dude is kicking ESPN's ass!
Top prospect coverage as always🫡 dope jersey as well
Man this is a tough draft. I just don't feel impressed by anyone. Every player looks developmental, so you have to draft based on character.
As a blazer fan I would love to get Alex Sarr or Cody Williams
how exactly is he rating colorado players so high when the team is not even top 25? he listed at least 3-4 colorado players . .
not gonna lie, Tristan Da Silva looks like Franz Wagner 2.0!!!
The Magic should draft him if he slips to the second round
bub carrington hm? he’s 33 on espn mock draft
great analysis man, i really love your second round selections and specifically Jamir Watkins and Reece Beekman
All i see is europeans taking over the league. US better improve their program or they gonna become england football team 😂

JDub went to one of the best development teams in the league if Cody ends up on the Pistons it may not be as smooth as you think.
it’s cool i need him on the hornets to finish out our starting 5… lamelo ball, brandon miller, cody williams, miles bridges, mark williams

no Stojakovic?
Hansen will not be in this years draft. Next year first rounder for sure.
Everyone sleeping on matas buzelis

Nice jersey! I've got KC Monarchs gear on right now too.
Great content as always, btw
Do you think that Tramon Mark has a chance to get drafted he's been playing pretty well in my opinion
Honor huff should be recruited such a aggressive three point shot creating threat
What for you separates AJ Johnson and Trentyn Flowers as prospects?
Tidjaun Salaun is not a wing. And we need to normalize this.
