Hi Dan. Really good vid. Love seeing the snow. Cracking bothy, great fire, beautiful night sky and Whisky. 23 deg!👏👏 So many bothies in Scotland. Brilliant. 👍
Thanks Jen. I visited Jack the other day and we ended up talking about this epic trip again. It was so damn hard at the time, but an unforgettable experience.
FairPlay Dan, you go to some wild places and that was stunning, absolutely beautiful- you deserve a lot more subscribers. Need to get our arses to Scotland we are missing out! ATB Mark & Simon 👌👍
Yes Scotland is just another level in every respect it must be said, Shame it's so far away though. Need to get back to Wales myself soon. Been nearly 4 months since the last visit. Thanks for watching.
Great to see you Dan - and looked like you and Jack had a great adventure! Beautiful scenes in that snow! Thanks as always for sharing, I will be sure to stop by Jack's channel! All the best, Marcus
A couple of years back myself and my boyfriend hiked up to Loch Etchachan over Derry Cairngorm and set up a tent for the night just as it was getting dark. Turns out that wasn't a great idea as we spent a cold, loud, sleepless night being battered by constant 30mph winds with gusts up to 60, with the tent eventually collapsing and shredding at 6 am just as it was dawning (Our first 'serious' camp with an amazon tent, it was a hard lesson). I can't describe the relief we felt once we started hiking down and came across the Hutchinson Memorial Hut. How lovely and warm and quiet it was in there to make a bit of breakfast porridge and take a mid morning nap. A very special place.
Hi Dan , just subbed and what a great video of your epic adventure and reminded me of a similar trip I did a while back in similar conditions, no stove in the hutchy then so was warmer to sleep in the tent. I was thinking where is that bothy Red house and glad you said it was a new one. Brilliant. Again I really enjoyed this. Cheers Dan 🏕️👍

That sounds like quite the adventure and dice with the elements. You must have been as relieved to see the Hutchie as we were. Thanks for watching.

"Mezzanine level"... You should have been an estate agent.
