will be visiting the glossier store for the first time this year and would love to get a 5 best and 5 worst for them!! 💕 thanks jamie you’re the best ✨
Boy brow, cloud paint, stretch concealer, lash slick for bottom lashes, future dew, (these are just my favorite!) I don’t like their skin care that much.
Fenty beauty has amazing cream blushes/cream bronzer.I'm not referring to the match stix, although i really like them you have to know the right way to use them. The new ones are stunning!
I've found that matchstix work wayy better on bare skin. I use them for no makeup makeup days when I only have a little concealer. When I have foundation on the product is way stiffer and harder to blend. Maybe if you want to give them one last chance, try it with the routine from your last video! Also, love your videos!
khenders 7 i agree. I dont wear foundation and liked the contour match stix. I didnt get much use on the “high light” one since i have dry not acne prone skin and it didnt work well for undereyes but was fine for the few blemishes i get.
this is actually so helpful because lately I have been so into the brand and trying new things I usually wouldn't. so far im obsessed with the glosses and the bronzers but its good to know to stay away from the mascara and the cream sticks/brow product especially because you mentioned all my pet peeves when talking about them. Thank you for this - it was so helpful!
There’s a way to make MatchStix work, I have dry skin & use mine every time I do makeup. I find that they apply best when you use a densely packed synthetic brush like Sephora new 06 brush - I pick up product directly from the tube with it, by gently running tips of bristles of the brush on top of the stick (back and forth, back and forth). This way you warm up your MatchStix and should not even worry about blending it out, because the brush will do the job for you. Once these cream bronzers are on, they stay put all day! Unlike creamier formulas like NudeStix.
I use mine this way as well and it works great for me, i love using the elf precision airbrush stipple 105 with it. Another technique i learned from the video that nikkie tutorials did with rihannas makeup artist, she puts the product on the back of her hand to warm it, then applies it to the face by picking it up with the brush.
I was just about to comment the same thing. I hate it applied directly, but using it with a brush is great blends perfectly without going everywhere + it lasts all day
I've only tried the gloss bomb from Fenty, and I love it! Fussy is my favourite gloss. As for 5 best 5 worst, please do a video on blushes, eyebrow products, glossier or nudestix.
I also have dry skin, but that foundation is one of my favorites! I think it’s interesting to see how products work on different people and in different climates.
I’m an oily mess so I’m obsessed with their original foundation, the primer, blotting powder, and of course their glosses!! Thank you for sharing your 5 best and 5 worst of the Fenty Beauty products..always enjoy these videos!! Happy Galentines Day!! Love you, Jamie!!💛😘 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo 🐺🐍🐆
Hi Jamie, one tip for applying the match stix is to first warm up the product on the back of your hand (instead of directly spreading it out on the face like you can with the Nudestix products). It really makes it much easier to blend!
I have dry skin but I looove the hydrating foundation! I’m wondering if it has to do with the climates we live in as well. I know some foundations that I love look completely different when I travel to other cities.
I would like to see this type of review for Estee lauder, Armani or ysl. I've seen you using the ysl touche eclat glow foundation but I would like to know your thoughts about other products of this brand. Love this type of video!! You are amazing! Greetings from Greece!!
Jamie! I agree I think that the Fenty brushes are underrated, I love mine especially the foundation brush you mentioned. I would love to see a Cover FX version in this series, I've never tried the brand and would love your thoughts!
Totally agree in regards to the brushes! The powder brush is sooo nice, I ended up buying a second one. Not only are they pretty, but soooo soft and clean up well.
I love the Fenty gloss bombs and the stunna lip paints! I really want to try the Snap shadow palettes! The glosses do have an amazing nonsticky texture and a lovely shine. The stunna lip paints are long lasting, feel thin on the lips and not super drying at all.
I’m glad that you made this video I feel like a lot of influencers are afraid to speak out on fenty products for some strange reason because I know not every single thing is good
I have dry skin and the exact same thing happen with the hydrating foundation. I returned it and wished I would have only got a sample. I was thinking with its name it would have been perfect but it was one of the worst foundations I tried last year.
I have dry skin too and tried the hydrating foundation it was horrible it was cakey and make my skin very dry a couple weeks later I tried the soft matte one by Sephora and it looked really good I purchased it and I’m happy now it looks flawless even by dry skin but don’t forget du moisturize or Prime
@@mollyrzr The same happened to me, this foundation doesn't suit my dry skin, i love how the shade #120 compliments my complexion, but the result is a dry mess on my face. I can't return the foundation, so i bought a mini size of an oil primer (a friend suggested Farsali Rose gold elixir, but i'm sure you can try with any kind of oil primer, like the Nyx one) and tomorrow i'll try to blend a pump of foundation with a couple of oil drops.
I would love to see your five best and worst for eyeshadow primer, makeup for ever, and for luxury products 💓 Also, I think the match stix in the shade beach bum is super underrated. The color is beautiful and looks like that perfect sunburn about to turn into a tan. They work better for me because I have oily skin. I agree with you 100% on the gloss bombs. They are beautiful
Love the 5 best/worst in a specific brand! I'm maybe one of the few that I know that love the Fenty foundations. I've used both types and am more partial to the hydrating formula just because I prefer lighter coverage. For the last 6 months or so I've actually been mixing the 2 and find it gives a really beautiful look and finish for the winter months and I can play with the coverage level better.
The fenty pro filtr foundation is my favorite foundation of all time. It is so perfect for my oily skin. I also love the diamond bomb highlighter and the glosses
I think what people should keep in mind when trying base products from Fenty beauty is that Rihanna has said that she has very oily skin herself so her product line, I would assume would reflect that. Btw, I love these style videos! Keep them coming.
Wow! I really like the idea of reviewing the brand instead of products. It kinda easier to remember what is good and what is not so good! Thanks so much! Hope to see more brands reviews from you beautiful!
I haven’t tried a whole lot from Fenty but I adore the diamond carat highlighter it’s just pure glitter but it’s so stunning on face and body if you like to look like you’re glowing from miles away, the bronzers and glosses are also a favorite of mine ❤️ she needs to come back with the limited edition shade in that gloss set for the holidays that was a bright red but in full size I NEED to get my hands on it😢
I love the original fenty blotting powder as well as the loose powder (I have the shade butter). I’m super oily so I love that they’re both so finely milled so they don’t cake up! I know what you mean about the match stix being a drier formula but I’ve found applying amber from the back of my hand with a duo fibre brush really does a good job and, because I’m so oily and it’s a dry formula, it’s long wearing on me. I loved this overview tho there is a lot of interesting stuff from this brand that I’d want to try but I know it can be hit and miss, so thank you for your honesty in these videos 😚
I definitely agree with your best 5 but being someone with combo skin I actually love the hydrating foundation more than the soft matte! And I also enjoy the brow mvp I’ve bought it twice and I enjoy the brush tip. I also didn’t have an issue of slipping so you may have gotten a faulty but that’s the beauty of makeup it works for some and doesn’t for others.
Glad i'm not the only one having hard times with the new Hydrating foundation, i really wanted this one to work well on my skin, the shade #120 matches my skin in a beautiful way, but the formula makes my face looks cakey and dry like a desert. Unfortunately here in France the return policy doesn't allow me to bring it back to sephora and ask for a refund, so before tossing away the foundation i bought a mini size of Farsali rose gold elixir, i'll try to blend some drops of oil with the foundation. Wish me luck!
A trick that I use for the amber match stix - I draw it on primed skin and then dot my foundation around those areas and blend out. Looks amazing and doesn’t have the lifting you can get if you put it on top of foundation.
I agree with the pro filter concealer for sure! I bought it but I find it is so thick and makes my under eye look cakey. I definitely don’t even like it with the foundation, it makes my face look really dry and cakey (and I have oily skin and no wrinkles), but when I use the foundation with other concealers it looks so good. I always thought I was using the concealer incorrectly because I didn’t like it but everyone seemed to love it. 😭
I feel the same way about some liquid lipsticks feeling so dry. I love Fenty Beauty products. I do plan on purchasing fussy & some glass bombs along with the snap shadows & more brushes.
Oh no, that’s crazy your pencil did that! I’m on my 4th brow pencil and I’ve never had that happen, the brush on the end is a little weird but it doesn’t bother me to where I need a different tool. Love these videos!!
Fenty glosses for sure 👍👍👍. And I am mad about the Fenty loose powder in lavender - it’s a game changer under my 55yr old eyes. I hate to use any powder but sometimes it’s a necessary evil lol and this Fenty powder is magical. I never hear anyone talk about but I will never be without it:) Tammy Roy🇨🇦
I think one of Fenty's best products that gives overlooked is their Mattemoiselle lipsticks! They are so many different, beautiful colors and they looks very matte on the lips without being too dry. They're super pigmented and creamy I'm obessessed
Can you please do a five best and worst of Huda Beauty. I don’t have anything from her line but curious about a lot of it and don’t know where to start. Thank you 🙏🏼
Wooow, i almost alway agree with you I have super dry skin, and love their hydrating foundation, it’s a been my go to, and i haven’t had those issues. Although i do prep my skin pretty well (as i do for any foundation because of how dry my skin is) I even enjoy the match stix, i warm them up on the back of my hand and apply brush though. I also LOVE their Brow MVP, i haven’t had any issues and i love the little brush, I have very thick brows and I like how it’s more firm than I spoolie.
I love your look in this, also, I don't suppose we can get a full shot of the picture on your wall? It's super neat looking! I love finding new art for my walls :D
The bronzers and contours now come in a compact. It is called Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer. They are much more creamy and easier to blend. Some of the same colors as the Match Stix and some new colors. I have been using Amber as contour. I think you would be happier with it in the compact.
Personally I use the Fenty Match Stix in Amber almost on the daily because it’s THE perfect contour shade for me. I have the Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate in Intensity 1 & it goes on like butter & blends like a dream...but it’s way too warm to use as a contour, so I use it as a bronzer. I also really like the ease of use of the Fenty Match Stix. I just draw it on & blend! If those two products could make a baby, that would be ideal!
I actually love the brow pencil! It's my new(er) go-to! I also love the mascara. None of the complexion products have worked out for me unfortunately. But the gloss bombs are 10/10 and I have owned every colour. The only one I'm missing is Glass Slipper! I just picked up the fly liner pencil today so I'm hoping that it turns out to be a good purchase lol.
Have to agree about the concealer completely! Unfortunately I live in Europe. You can't just return products that are used if you don't like it. I like the foundation for my dry skin. I use it with the hydrating primer. I didn't like the brush at the end of the pencil either and in less than a month it fell off so I have to use a spoolie from another product. I only have one matchstick and thought it was drying for my skin so I won't repurchase, but as you said the color is divine.
I love the gloss bombs.. a total hit! The matchstix... I only own one and it’s in Amber and it’s fabulous! I agree with you, Jamie, that the color is absolutely spectacular. It can not be duped in my opinion. It works for me though. I tried the concealer and ...Oh boy was it a total fail... i have 3 brushes and I love the three of them. I am not a big fan of the color range of the bronzers as I find they lean too warm, but the formula is stunning. I have had my eye on the rosy toned eyeshadow palette as soon as I set my eyes on it in the store and now it makes me want it even more. It is so lovely. Jamie, are you wearing the rosy toned eyeshadow palette??? Your eyes are mesmerizing! :) The cool neutrals are pretty too.
Ooh! So thankful for this video! I would really like to start wearing bronzer, specifically cream, so this helps me to choose to go with the milk version first before matchsticks. Thank you!
Essence has some amazing products (and keeps bringing out more!), but there are also some not-so-great products too. As it's a super-affordable drugstore brand, I'd like to see a best and worst of Essence. Great idea btw!
I had to return the hydrating foundation. There are so many good foundations for dry skin- Pat macgrath, mented foundation stick and I just bought the stellar foundation that is on sale at Sephora. Nice formula.
Just realized that she's one of the only beauty YTers or famous YTers that changed their whole face to look like Kim K. Major respect bc you're super naturally pretty
4 out of your 5 of your "5 worst" are products I actually use and love (I've never bought the match sticks), so it's very surprising to me that none of them worked out for you. I use the concealer in conjunction with the foundation, and I see no problems on my skin. I also use their hydrating primer, which is probably the main reason why I see no dryness coming out of my skin (and my skin is REALLY, REALLY dry in the winter). I love Fenty Beauty because they're very unique and different compared to all of the other brands out there.
I have mixed complexion and my tip for using hydrating foundation is to use bit powder after moisturiser then setting spray and primer. It stays on my face for whole day and doesn't move ;)
Allana loved the fenty glowy foundation, so I ran out to get a sample. Oh my god so happy I got a sample ‘cause it broke me out soooo badly. Loved the finish but think it was the scent that broke me out. So heavily fragranced.
Ooh! I agree with the concealer but do NOT agree with the brow pencil! However I mainly love it because it comes in so many shades of red. I don’t mind the brush I think the packaging is more sturdy than other pencils and I’ve never had the pencil fall out.
I love the fenty cream sticks but I did have to figure out that you have to rub your brush on the stick then apply the product with the brush to the skin. If you go in with the stick straight in the skin and then try to blend it out, it doesn't work.
Hi Jamie! I LOVED the video- absolutely agree with the match stix. I have the shade "Trippin" which I use as a blush because it has this beautiful pinky peach colour with a gold shift. It just ends up looking so dry and textured! If you wanted to find a great cream contour in a cool undertone like the Fenty one, the Westman Atelier Contour Stick in "Biscuit" is fantastic! Super pricey for what it is but still a great product :)
I agree the matchstix are very powdery but for an oily girl like me, they are everything!!!!! They blend really well on my skin and stay put all day. I find that throughout the day, they mix so well with my oils and they look great hahah
You should do one of these but demo the five best on one side and the five worst on the other so we can see in the moment what you mean!
Beauty by Malcolm good idea!
Omg yes ,that is brilliant
5b/5w: eyebrow products, products that promise that “lit from within glow”

5 best and 5 worst cream blushes or cream bronzer? :D I'm on the hunt for good ones and I'd love your opinion in those two categories
Julia Karanović cream blush is AMAZING from glossier and a realllyyy good cream bronzer is from milk makeup:)
@@corbenholland7009 I can't get either of those two brands in my country :(
Julia Karanović stila brand is amazing on cream blushed and they carry the best eyeliner as well.
Julia Karanović flower beauty has amazing cream blushes for dupes for glossier!
Fenty beauty has amazing cream blushes/cream bronzer.I'm not referring to the match stix, although i really like them you have to know the right way to use them. The new ones are stunning!

Also, love your videos!
khenders 7 i agree. I dont wear foundation and liked the contour match stix. I didnt get much use on the “high light” one since i have dry not acne prone skin and it didnt work well for undereyes but was fine for the few blemishes i get.
Same with me, sometimes I also apply the product right on the brush and put it on my face from there to have a lighter application
this is actually so helpful because lately I have been so into the brand and trying new things I usually wouldn't. so far im obsessed with the glosses and the bronzers but its good to know to stay away from the mascara and the cream sticks/brow product especially because you mentioned all my pet peeves when talking about them. There’s a way to make MatchStix work, I have dry skin & use mine every time I do makeup. Another technique i learned from the video that nikkie tutorials did with rihannas makeup artist, she puts the product on the back of her hand to warm it, then applies it to the face by picking it up with the brush.
I love the MatchStix(s)
I love my matchstick bronzer too.

Be careful I see TONS of reviews on Sephora that says that one in particular leaks everywhere so I skipped it just wanted to let you know
Hi Jamie, one tip for applying the match stix is to first warm up the product on the back of your hand (instead of directly spreading it out on the face like you can with the Nudestix products). It really makes it much easier to blend!

I think one of Fenty's best products that gives overlooked is their Mattemoiselle lipsticks! They are so many different, beautiful colors and they looks very matte on the lips without being too dry. They're super pigmented and creamy I'm obessessed
Please do a video on your fav single eyeshadows !! 💕
The mascara is bomb! Also depending on the primer you use is what can make the foundation work for you or not
I love the fly liner!!! And I really appreciate these videos, I would love to see more!
Your earings are to cute! I love the gloss bombs and the bronzer !!
Can you please do a five best and worst of Huda Beauty. I don’t have anything from her line but curious about a lot of it and don’t know where to start. Thank you 🙏🏼
loved this review gorgeous! ❤️❤️❤️
Great video! I definitely want to try the bronzer and gloss bombs some day! 😍
I want this makeup tutorial!! Love pink shadow on you❤️
I actually love the brow pencil!
5 best 5 worst of "clean beauty" pls!
The cool neutrals are pretty too.
Ooh! So thankful for this video! I would really like to start wearing bronzer, specifically cream, so this helps me to choose to go with the milk version first before matchsticks. Thank you!
Please do a 5 best 5 worst of face masks 🥰🥰🥰
Essence has some amazing products (and keeps bringing out more!), but there are also some not-so-great products too. As it's a super-affordable drugstore brand, I'd like to see a best and worst of Essence. Great idea btw!
I know that‘s VERY specific. But could you do 5 best 5 worst clear glosses? I think that‘d be so interesting 🧐
Yesssss
I had to return the hydrating foundation. There are so many good foundations for dry skin- Pat macgrath, mented foundation stick and I just bought the stellar foundation that is on sale at Sephora. Nice formula.
i love your setup so much it's so cute!
Awww I love the fenty brow product it works rlly well for brushing me brows
OMG girl what earrings are you wearing. I need those in my life
Kennedy Lucas Ikr. They are gorgeous 😍.
Love this best and worst, thats how Ive found you channel by searching the best tinted moisturizers. You had long blond hair in that video🥳
5 best, 5 worst eyeshadow palettes please!!! 💞
