I've really been enjoying Wrong Way to Use Healing, for a lot of the reasons you said. The characters actually have strong, likable personalities, which makes me think this show has an actual story as opposed to being a reader-insert power fantasy with nothi g more than a gimmick. Also, I love Inukami and I kinda dig the potential chemistry she and the MC have. Also, than you for putting a little bit of focus on "The Adventures of Sword Dad and Murder Kitten." It's one of my favorite isekai stories out there, and it's just ... so damn wholesome.

I haven't mainlined all the big isekai so maybe it's not that rare, but Ryuusen's reaction of "How dare you kidnap us! No, send us home to our families!" was a refreshing change of pace. I really like the character writing in Wrong Healing.
The best thing about this anime really is how Rose teaches and utilizes her power. Healers in any media whether it is video games or anime. Usually use their powers to heal others. It’s never used or been thought of to be used as a way to become a tank/attack build. Of course it’s in the name of the series. But it still surprised the hell out of me when the premise hits while Usato is training. It’s a good anime…not in my top by any means. The concept deserves its due. I give it a solid 8/10.
I really enjoyed the first two episodes, no cringe that made me take off my headphones, pretty funny with classic “I will be stronger!” Protagonist who was, pleasantly surprisingly as you said, the comedic relief, he is the superior green haired mc, screw deku and his shipper fan base. Btw we need to set up a isekai junky meet-up for all of the people like us who will binge any decent isekai, though I have some limits, I didn’t watch that reincarnated with my phone Cus it was so obviously an unimaginative click bait title for the same damn show but worse lol

Not the greatest thing to say to other weebs in this day and age but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt… quickly tho I have to talk about my intense hatred of bakugo, he’s like every badly done annoying tsundere ever but in friend form making the shippers and simps go crazy whilst being worse, every time he walked on screen my eye must’ve twitched subconsciously he’s one of the worst characters I’ve ever had the displeasure of seeing on screen ever and I anyone who likes him needs mental help. Shield Hero isn't a revenge isekai, yes he wants pay back on the people who screwed him over, but Naofumi clearly has higher priorities such as survival, getting stronger & clearing the waves so he can go home.
Plus the term incel means involuntary celibate, someone who wants some action but has no game. Naofumi is the complete opposite of an incel, girls are interested in him but he isn't, he's got no interest in romance & is repulsed by the idea of sex.
Only Isekai I’ve really liked is a handful. Overly Cautious Hero was pretty gas, this one I can’t recommend the name of but he gets Isekai’d and keeps getting killed over and over and having to relive the same day and finally if he succeeds to a new point in time it’s like he gets a new “save point”. Then Deathmount is a reverse Isekai n it’s great. I really like this one as well. Can’t think of any others yet I feel like I am missing it. Can’t wait to see how it continues, kinda nice to see someone use healing magic and not being rather useless, dudes op but it’s cool as if you could heal all your muscles after and mid workouts you would see years of growth in a matter of weeks same as how he has.
If I am being honest, I love Isekai's insane ideas. I don't blame the strange idea for the bad writing. The strange idea was the only good thing. The bad writing is covered up with initial creativity, and then they run out and just make it generic. An Isekai about a slime with slime powers would be interesting. But the one that they made is about a god that can absorb anything and has every power after just a few battles. I honestly feel like they just need to limit characters power-wise. Not every main character needs to be a mage with "explosion magic," killing dragons left and right. But the few times that happens, it just gets uneasily dark. I just want a balance between "I am a god. Look at my harem" and " HATE, HATE, HATE, THE BEGINING OF THE STORY JUSTIFIES THIS. I WILL STILL GET A HAREM!!!! Just why give the characters every generic magic power when the point was to limit them in some way? Why give a slime and a spider explosion magic? If they have to kill dragons, both a slime and a spider could slowly kill it with poison/ sticky acid, it can't reach. But that would just be showing weakness in the writer's eyes, I guess.
last episode airs tomorrow, will definitely miss this once its over. not sure if we'll get a season 2 but because they mentioned usato's next journey in ep12 i feel like it could happen
just got done watching the 4th episode and I really like the idea of the healing team being these big power house steam engines that never tire, get in and get out with as many people as they can as a concept, we'll see how well it does when the demons attack! This show so far has been an amazing watch not just for an isekai, but for an anime in general
If you boil it all down, it's a shounen story set in an isekai, and it works for all the same reasons all the shounen trash works The themes of adventure, friendship, and self improvement is all there, it doesn't have to break new grounds to be enjoyable
The only thing I had against this anime is for a brief moment - the anime becomes unbelievable…and it’s the backstory of Rose. Up till then every character had reasonable and justified reasons to wear armor - but then the backstory and it shows Rose’s crew wearing the most ridiculous illogical armor…especially for the women…a breastplate that stops over the stomach…while Rose is the only one in full plate armor but with no helmet….then the reveal that the female student battle armor is literally a mini skirt… Come now, this story has already put emphasis on the rescue team being trained specifically for speed - which makes sense why they are not wearing plate armor and their training is to make up for that. So it’s only logical that the army be training in armor - I mean look the other male student was wearing plate armor…so why did the girl have a mini skirt? Is there no wonder why majority of female soldiers haven’t been slaughtered as of yet…
while i do enjoy the genre im not verse on all of them that have come out but ig the clips shown in this are mostly of the same, i want to know the names because good bad or fugly theres a few i dont know but want to check out, if for no other reason than to know 'nope not this' and edit: the main 1 that had me curious was named, thanks for that its as rare as hentai with plot that isnt cupsize related

I've read the manga and I'll avoid spoilers. But three episodes are already out. It doesn't take much to rewrite a different first episode, that doesn't involve summoning the characters from a different world, and still have 100% of the other two episodes unchanged. The king uses a powerful magic ritual to identify hero candidates from all over the kingdom, it selects 3 young persons from a remote village, and done, you get a similar story without most of the genre bull**it. What I mean is that this is technically an isekai, but could have been a "good old fantasy tale". So, the future of the isekai genre is not to write an isekai, unless you don't have a really good reason for it?

I LOVE One Piece but don't share the communities views on allllllll of the ridiculously never ending content that I qualify as filler as "substantive" There is a ginormous amount of content in One Piece that is utterly useless in storytelling.
