Kevin is plain rad. Amazing songwriter, but dare I say Elliott Smith- level chord melody. aka COUNTER MELODY. So melodic and harmonic. And just COOL songs. Got a chance to see his band play I wanna say at the black cat in DC with beach fossils. His latest album with Opportunity etc is a 10/10 record

If so I’m gonna make a hot tea can say I love Kevin’s material to the point where to me it’s better than hoops but that’s just my own opinion!!!! Exceptional a guitar player, singer, composer. His guitar playing (The fingerpicking, the cord melody the voicings and voice leading‘s) is up there with E. Smith. I wish him all the success in the world true talent, but it’s not just about Talon it’s about how are you use it. He seems like a humble n chill guy too- And I especially love that one transit bus concert. So great. When you can play a gig on a bus for a super legit taping, with just an electric guitar and amplifier, and fill out the sound, you know you’re a good dude. There are so many layers I feel like to the playing. Also opportunity by KK Is such a great song to wake up to. If you’re feeling down put that shit on that whole album is fire
