My dad told me when he was cutting down trees that saplings grow wild from their seeds falling everywhere and birds eat seeds and deposit them everywhere, I understood but still didn't like it I love trees he left the ones on the embankment to keep it from eroding too fast

I’m surprised that these homes have such a huge yard. There are so many people walking away from their homes and it stands vacant. I understand that times are tough but either the city or the banks have to start doing more to get people into these vacant homes since there are a lot of homeless too. It’s a terribly sad situation. Thank you Spencer for making these places look a lot nicer and trying to help the neighborhood.

That's the beautiful thing about his craft. It doesn't take an awful amount of skill. And I mean no disrespect in saying that, I too love landscaping and horticulture. It's probably one of the leading contributors to getting humans to where we are today with agriculture and all that

Some cities have a "land bank", where the city takes possession of houses abandoned beyond a certain amount of time. Then people can buy the house for really cheap (think $1, $500, etc) as long as they show constant improvement every 6 months. Where is this house located?

Abandoned properties that haven't paid property tax for years(depending on the state therein) get sold by the county at a tax deed sale
