Hi, this may be a long shot. But I have a 2016 Kia Optima and everything works on my seat except the forward and back function. The recline works and I'm able to move the seat up and down. The up and down and forward/back uses the same switch. Ive also check under the seat and nothing is lodged under the seat. From your experience, what do you think the isdue may be?
@@laker4lyfe890 I would look at the controller and clean the contacts inside it with an air compressor. Or try swapping the controller with the one on the passenger side and see if that works. That would indicate it's the controller/switch that is the issue and not a mechanical issue.
It would be so much easier to follow this video if it didn't black out/silence in the most important visual steps. I don't know if it is intentional or an editing accident.
