- Welcome to my adventure in Ipoh, my favourite city in Malaysia! I explored every nook and cranny of this charming heritage city, from its bustling streets to its hidden gems. I wandered through the historic Three Concubine Lanes, where each alleyway tells a story of its own, and marvelled at the stunning wall paintings that bring the city's rich history to life.
But the real highlight was the food! I indulged in the most famous delicacies Ipoh has to offer - from savoury street food to mouth-watering pastries. I couldn’t resist the freshly baked treats that melted in my mouth and the renowned soya milk that left me craving more. Join me as I take you through a culinary and cultural journey in the heart of Ipoh. Don't miss out on this delicious adventure!
Ipoh is a city in northwestern Malaysia, known as a gateway to the Cameron Highlands hill station. In the former Hakka Miners’ Club, Han Chin Pet Soo is a museum about the tin-mining industry and Hakka community. Sam Poh Tong is a Buddhist temple in a limestone cave. Is this city famous for such paintings on the wall?
Its not the one most well known for it - thats Penang.
Anyway, this city does have murals too but lesser known, some by the same famous mural artist in Penang(Ernest Zacharevic) too.
No, most malaysian cities' walls have these kinds of painting.
