I have done this before on my 2nd character. But it has been a while by now. I am on my third character now. Different build, different weapon, going for the third ending, and finally going through the entirety of the chalice dungeons so I can get my platinum trophy. This was the first game I got on my PS4, so that sounds like a good way to get ready for the PS5, which I'll be getting some time next year. But yeah, I can't bring myself to speedrun this game, and pass on this emote for this character. So this really helped. Just taking my time and getting as much shit done as possible. I love this game. I think it might still be my favorite game this gen.
You must have killed Amelia first. You can kill all the beasts you want when he is firing the turret at you. Because I did and I just made friends with him. I didn’t hurt any beasts on the way back to him though just in case it would matter now after going to the Paarl boss room and boning out before killing him (I’m not strong enough yet).took a few huts for sure on my way back to him, but it worked and I befriended him! :) Now, I need to know if it matters if I kill them again or not after telling him that I would spare them lol.

This still works, worked for me a few minutes ago. I did kinda mess up the path down to where you can first kill the enemies chasing you and I did die on my first attempt at blood staved beast and I did give the little loot creature a smack on the way back down. However Durja and I were able to speak. I also died attempting Paarl as in the video.
Hey pro tip, most of the enemies in Old Yharnam fear fire, so if you have the torch out they're repelled by it. Also, the pocket lamp slows the rate your stamina regenerates so I wouldn't have it out at all and just use the torch or increase the brightness in settings to see better in dark areas.
Cane is such an underrated weapon with it's capability to stunlock small enemies that aren't a boss. It also doesn't consume a lot of stamina leaving enough for you to use to dodge at a moment's notice.
for the love of god, go behind the Blood-starved beast! Always heal and use andidote there, it can only damage you if you're infront of it or on its' side.
Gwynbleidd I found a trick to beating it faster. There's a combo that it does that it takes 1 and half seconds to start (give or take), and if you shoot it before it even starts while it attempts to attack, you'll parry it, and then... well, I don't think I need to tell you what you have to do after that one opening.
@@SuperDragonBlader This. When he slowly raises his right arm to swipe, you can shoot him and it parries him like 90 percent of the time. Incredibly easy boss once you notice that opening.
Did you have atleast 10 insight before doing this run look see if you look at the right to0 corner of the screen you’ll see that he has 14 and is able to befriend djura so I bet you’ve done this run less then 10 I’m assuming
@@omarsouai2879 my go to method is killing the darkbeast Paarl and going in old yharnem so djura can’t see me, when your climbing up the ladder you’ll notice him walking towards you and that’s when you’ll know you’ve done it right, I’m not really sure if you need 10 insight to befriend djura but I make sure I do just to be safe and closely listen to the walk through as well and don’t kill any beasts
Would be helpful if after you get killed and port to the new area you didnt just show it straight from the tunnel through to the boss and shown it from where you actually appear! Apart from that thanks helped a lot.
do you have to spare the beasts when going thru upper old yharnam ? cuz i read somewhere that even if the enemies are hurt in any way faling,walking into fire etc. he will agro against you and i could CLEARLY see that some died in the explotion 1:00

You let the snatcher kill you, and then what? You automatically appear in Yahar'gul, Unseen Village? How about you explain that, cuz I still don't know. I haven't gotten to it yet, so how do you go that place from Old Yharnam.
Yes you will automatically appear in yahargul if u die by a snatcher for the first time. He killed BSB so he can port to old yarnham after meeting paarl but if you can beat him, there's a door connected to old yarnham

Pro tip: use blue elixirs to bypass most of the beast easier.

If you summon Alfred for the boss fight, don't let him kill any beasts. I think that is what invalidated my attempt.
