He is Parama Guru in India, don’t put symbols like that on his head for your views or engagement. Have some respect Or you can be re ported by their organisation itself
Nameste, Jason. Absolutely understand the importance of settling the mind into stillness. It's definitely a constant challenge during meditation to bring stillness into my busy mind. It is fascinating once one dedicates time to meditation and how much resistance the ego mind puts up a fight. Just wanted to say thank you, Jason, not only for your great content on Eastern spiritual traditions. I am grateful for all the scared texts that you share, especially on Hinduism. The texts you provide have been a great source of support and tools on my spiritual journey. Shanti! Shanti! Shanti!
Oh, I am familiar with the monkey mind! But knowing that it can be quelled is encouraging. "Empty, Spontaneous and Free" leads to equanimity leads to Atman/Brahman. Thank you! 🕉

Jason brother have you ever made a video discussing your family’s thoughts about your interest in Eastern thought? I imagine you did not grow up with many of these ideas. As an ethnic Indian, my own family is highly skeptical about practices such as Yoga and meditation! Thanks in advance. Namaste! ❤
Wow I have obtained Sarvasunya or was born with it from a previous life. I have Aphantasia (blank mind) which was just coined in 2015. But likely just a rediscovery as this seems the same. It means you have no sensory recall/no monkey mind! I react only based on the world physical simuli. I do meditate and I'm unable to visualize anything. Its just a black void, sometimes i see a faint blue pulse of light. Thank you for your videos and the great information that bridges the gap between east and west🙏
I love this video so far, and I'm having a powerful spiritual experience just watching it. It's my first exposure to the term Devikollataram. According to the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi jyotishi I saw as a child at MIU in Fairfield, Iowa, where I grew up mainly, "many people will grow wealthy because of you" I think was the exact quote. So I have a really berserk chart for that. All this knowledge is interesting, but I also sense I've been in a lot of art over the years, before and after I was born. To me, an anchor, after having all kinds of mystical experiences in life so far, has been the "breathless state" Paramahansa Yogananda describes in Autobiography of a Yogi: I'd have to stress how many PhDs, of which there are many at MIU, descend into word soup when it comes to a lot of subjects, such as the spiritual life and refuse to make any sense. So that's why the movie Room where Brie Larson was suffocated means a lot to me, because I can quote "Wanna breath?" from the movie, to people who refuse to make any sense about Yogananda's description of how he tested his guru's ability to stop breathing at will. I think maybe that does justice to all the talk about the Spirit world, better than anything, if it's not mentioned right away.
Awesome video as always Jason. Always deepening. Thank you🙏🌅 Would you say Sarvasunya is similar or possibly the exact same as Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj’s “I Am” meditations?
The timeless Reality is already being faced by everyone. You can't face away from it even if you wanted to. You are That! The question is, is it being noticed and appreciated? Do we realize the significance of what is already present? Most of us are too interested in and fascinated by the contents of the mind, and pay little attention to its source. It is not so much as doing something to calm the monkey mind but to notice that which knows the monkey mind without being affected or disturbed by its stories.
💛❤️World must turn towards brahman or tao or paramatma. Instead they are fighting for mythological story written in different parts of the world. You can name brahman or not. Truly it is nameless. It is the deep indian knowledge. And later spreaded into other eastern country💛❤️
Trying to stop or quieten thought as the thinker is like trying to pull the rug from under ones own feet, there is no thinker apart from thought itself, to drop one is to drop both, not as one but zero, Sarvansunya ?
Jason, I know that - "If the mountain will not come to Mohammed, Mohammed will go to the mountain." - but can you please video a guided tour of your circumambulation around Arunachala ? Love your channel.
Pronunciation changes from north to south India. I'm not sure how you don't know this? Remember, I am not new to this and have been teaching for 15 years, so I know a lot about pronunciation and Sanskrit. With all due respect, I'm not sure if you were trying to discredit my work because you think my pronunciation is wrong, or you just forgot all of India don't pronounce Sanskrit the same? Also, pronunciation is not key, the knowledge is key.
Calmness is the key to the Autman ... Hopefully I'm spelling Autman right. 😂 It's all about the seed's planted in the mind of society's scattered consciousness keeping us from the Autman.
What is the best way to turn off the monkey mind? In one of your videos you quoted Ramana Maharshi as saying that all efforts to reach enlightenment were from the ego and were useless. Yet he has instructions to follow regarding spiritual improvement. That seems to be a contradiction from him. It is extremely annoying when teachers contradict themselves.

Don't worry about taking family, or dear ones along. Very very few people are genuinely curious or interested. That's the nature of this world/maya

Yes. But don’t tell the monkey
@@baronbullshyster2996 That's right. Don't talk about poetry to a non-poet.
Thanks a million, Jason for your beautiful video! It is not pronounced as "Divay". Its Devi. Meaning Goddess!

Brother, Devi is pronounced day-vee, not dee-vy. Pronunciation is key in Sanskrit. Thank you ❤️💛💚

Exactly..not the word...the value we must seek
There is a path?
Yes sure there is.

People using antipsychotics aren't sure they miss the monkey mind or feel liberated...
