In this video, we travelled to a remote site in Kitengela (Kajiado County, Kenya) with Sammy Wambua of Kingdom Precast Solutions. Together, we discussed about the 2 acre fence project and how it was quickly done within 6 weeks using precast concrete panels. Enjoy the discussion! Nice one. Kingdom Precast or equivalent will be our solution if they deliver to Ruiru at reasonable transport costs. I'm also wondering if it makes sense to first excavate the entire plot before putting any type of walls/fence, first laying murram, hardcore etc. I'm not sure if we have cotton soil in our plot but if so I'd be afraid the wall might cave in after heavy rain.
Excellent presentation. What happens if the fence passes in front of some land that is higher behind the panel than it is in front of the panel? Second question, how thick are the panels and how much does each panel weigh? Thank you in advance for your reply.
Thanks for the video. How durable are these structures? I remember a company called Instarect who were doing a similar thing but I see those walls falling apart after some time.
what's the grove measurements in inches for a single column. ,i bought moulds for making such panels in Russia and they have 2 inches thickness with a span length of 6 feet ,width 2 feet.
This is very insightful! Good job. 1. What happens when you build on black cotton soils? Does one need to do a trench and do blinding before placing the panels on the ground level? 2. Is there any solution to corner plots that have one side with 45 degree corners?
1. Yes you need to do the blinding and the foundation to support the weight of the panels and provide structural stability of the wall 2. I think 2 h columns are aligned at the 45-degree angle in line with the slope of the plot

It is slightly above 100mm to fit the 100mm thick panel

Precast panels are made of prestressed concrete, which is stronger than masonry blocks
Hi Guys of kingdom precast solutions, do have branches in Uganda? if yes share address please.
How much is it cost for one panel in Kenyan shiling
Ksh 2,350 3M high panel from Kingdom Precast Solutions
Why so much fencing, is it to keep animals in or animals out like pigs goats cows. Why the fencing? Why not wire and timber? I'm only asking...
We can only guess. Each client has their own needs and purposes with their project
500 panels=1,175,000 + 133 H beams=438,900 + Labor = over 2m i guess
You better buy another 2 acres
and have two unfenced plots
