The white balance is something that can be tweaked in the menus. Difficult to do precisely without a colorimeter but you can just play around with the colours in the user colour mode until it looks right. As for IPS glow, it really depends on your priorities. If sitting back and watching a movie in a dark room is a priority for you when buying a gaming monitor then, yes, IPS glow can be annoying (depending on your viewing angle) and the better contrast of a VA panel might be preferred. I can switch easily but I also need to manually re-plug my peripherals (keyboard, mouse, headset) to each laptop and it's a hassle. Do I need a separate USB switch or a KVM?
You would be able to plug you keyboard and mouse into the monitor then use the one usb hub cable from the monitor to switch between laptops. You'd still need to manually move the cable but saves you having to do it for both keyboard and mouse. You'd need a separate KVM to switch on the fly.
Depends what your first monitor is and what you want from a second monitor. It's perfect as a second screen that you can switch to for gaming (that's what I do - got a 34in ultrawide as main screen and 1080p 240hz as secondary for FPS games).

Does this monitor supports 144hz over hdmi 1.4 that comes with it or I have to use DP?
Surprisingly in does support 144hz over both hdmi 1.4 and DP :)
@@pavelyushkevich5230 nice thx for the info
@@pavelyushkevich5230 mine does only 120hz on both ,why?

Did you ever figure it out? Ha
I have been thinking should I get a 1440p monitor or 1080p? I would like at least a 27 inch one. Any advice?
1440p 27" sweetest spot ever :)))
Hardly a point to complain about a 1080p monitor being 1080p ;-) There's a "Q" model that cobers 1440p. I chose the 1080p version because I don't want (default) tinier typefaces, I want an easily readable picture and thi is just right. Also great for gaming framerates, of course.
Hi,does this work at 120hz with hdmi 2.0 or hdmi 1.4 for ps5?
It's compatible with ps5 for 120fps 👌
@@riathari thank you
No worries :)
@@riathari is the monitor hdmi 1.4 or 2.0 as the guy in the video says they are 2.0 but on the internet it says they are 1.4
@@javklordey639 1.4
does it come with a disport cable?
Yes, comes with one each of hdmi and display port.
Disport🤣
Does it support Freesync over HDMI? Is there any benefit using a DP with it?
well dp gives more bandwidth and a more stable connection overall plus low latency hdmi is usually cheaper but downside you can't use 240hz or higher refresh rates with hdmi so to justify this answer dp is better :)
benq mobiuz ex2710 vs aoc 27g2u better ??
Mobiuz is better.
Does it have HDMI 2.0 or 1.4? Because I saw it in amazon and it said it has HDMI 1.4
4k monitors has 2.0 hdmi
I just bought this monitor and it’s great and all but the problem is that it’s not that stable. Every time I kinda touch the monitor it kinda looks it’s about to fall over. Anyone know how to fix it?
get a monitor arm
Complete newby at gaming and descovered I'm not half bad at FPS games but I'm on just a normal TV (in the lounge) do I stand a better chance at blowing peoples heads off lol mine has a strange line that goes down the screen and by the time it's got to the bottom I am dead 😂must be insanely quick who I'm playing or attempting to haha , Ty
But I have to use the DP cable to use the 144Hz on my PC right? If yes then which one should I buy? And also is this monitor realy that good with ghosting and reaction time for csgo, even for a 2000h player ?
u buy monitor with DP in the box.
Why there is no way to comtrol sharpness in this monitor
Some games look way too sharp evwn un playable
What better this is monitor or MSI Optix G271
Im currently using the MSI Optix G271 and I'm planning on making my purchase for the AOC27. Both monitors have the same performance although looking at the AOC27, given the ability to adjust the armstand unlike the MSI Optix G271 is what makes this monitor unique. And the AOC27 looks better.
Also if your rocking with Nvidia card get the AOC and if your using AMD get the MSI Optix because of the G sync, etc
I bought this monitor not long ago, it's a very nice monitor for it's pricing I also have the Bagger version 32" Curved 1440p. They are very good in combination altough you can see the difference in size.
How do you know if the monitor is off? Does it show a orange light when off?
@@rickybotello4332 yes, when the monitor isn't in use but connected to power a little orange LED appears on the bottom right.
@@Hxngmxn thankyou brother, i recently bought a ps5 and monitor and never used a monitor so when i shut down the ps5 the monitor also shuts down i think. I was just afraid of leaving it and while time is on it overheats or somerhing
I have a question, I just orderd this monitor for my PS4, will I need a pc for it to work or can I still use my PS4?
It will work with your PS4, though you won't get any benefit from the faster 144Hz refresh rate. PS4 is 60Hz max.
TechyTalk ok thanks !!
srenchy 的 the PS5 will go up to 120 Hz so if you upgrade to that then it will be great for it
I suggest you get a gaming PC
I’m dead 💀 wtf is this question
Get the g menu
Hi i want to buy this, does this have a bluelight filter?
I believe it has a low blue light mode, though I can't remember specifically and can't find mention of it on AOC's website. Most monitors have such a mode these days.
Okay thanks!
This good for the PS5 through HDMI ?? And reach the 120 hz ??
Thanks
ye this or the curved 24zoll version
Patrik Bateman what's better 24 inch or 27
@@sahilwasimm if you play mostly multiplayer games, i would take the 24. if you only play singleplayer games, i would take the 27 - both are great.
is this good to use on playstation?
What playstion if it’s 4 then get a 75htz but if it’s ps5 then it’s great
I bought this monitor and I want to set up GSync but I can't find this option on Nvidia Panel. Any suggestions?
Make sure you're using display port with a decent cable. I forget if anything needs enabling in the monitors menus, such as a freesync option. If so, that will need enabling and that should then provide the option in Nvidia control panel.
@@TechyTalkUK I am using the HDMI cable that comes with the monitor and I plugged it in the HDMI port of my RTX
I believe Gsync won't work on this monitor over HDMI. The fact that it doesn't come with a DisplayPort cable is something I missed in my review, so apologies for that. You can pick one up for very little on Amazon though.
@@TechyTalkUK one more question. How can I change the response time to 1ms?
@@mihneathg57 You will not get 1 Ms response time even though it's advertised that you will. It is best to keep the Overdrive setting on Strong to have least amount of ghosting and to have the great response time.
So you were playing Apex Legends in nthe video .. i see that its not that Smooth Gameplay is that because the Monitor is bad or you couldnt Reach 144 HZ because of your Graphic Card !!?
Yeah, I shot that footage using my spare PC and it only has a GTX 1060 so was only getting 40-60fps - I really should get it upgraded. Tested the monitor using a GTX 1080ti in my main rig though.

anyone knows if this monitor has notorious backlight bleeding problems? Recently I buy a gigabyte g27f and I had to return it for that problem. now I want to try this monitor
yep
The monitor black levels are very poor and the backlight bleed it's absolute shit even in a well lit room. Tried 4 of them and each one of them was bad as the previous one.
