  • In this Precalculus Video lecture of Precalculus Video Series in Urdu/English, we will understand composition of two functions "(fog)(x)=f(g(x))". We will also learn how to find domain of that Composition of two functions with examples. "(fog)(x)=f(g(x))".
Domain of composition of two functions or domain of composite function "fog" :
"It is set of values of x from domain of g for which g(x) is in the domain of f".

I learned it in this way:
If the outer function has no problems then the composition`s domain will be the domain of the inner function. Does not matter if the inner function has any problems or not.
If the outer function has any problems then you compose the two functions and then set the whole thing >=0 or =0 and then you find the domain.
