I think another reason why rebound relationships fail is because, you might take the first person that comes by, just to be with someone else, and allow any kind of behavour.

You are the best. Much love for explaining things in such a clear way. I wish more people self educated on relationships. ... oh wait, your video just mentioned something about that ‘ex’ partner showing up again... HALLO! Shwing!! I know I’ve done my work by being alone, I hope he’s learned by whatever the rebound was meant to serve.

Hi coach. I was dumped and went into no contact ever since.
3 months later she texted me ( " Hi . Hope your doing ok " ) I was shocked so I replied back the following day. We had a great casual conversation. Nothing about missing anyone etc. Just simple stuff. So the following day I reached out in text and got no response, my heart was telling me to drive to her house to see if she was home. She was and I walked to her bedroom window outside and overheard her arguing with another man 😢.. I'm confused and hurt again. My question to you is.. Do I confront her about her rebound if there's any hope reconnecting again.. I feel like even though we are not together. The truth should've been told instead of me finding out.. Please help me with any advice. Thank you ✌

This is exactly what is happening to me. I know it’s not wise to go from one relationship straight to another but the problem is I started out trying to do the poly thing. I was hoping to stay with my ex and be with someone new. Then I realized I needed to leave my ex and there was nothing I could do about the other relationship I was already in. Any suggestions? Should we have taken a break? I was with my ex for seven years. How long a break would we have needed?

My ex of 2 years got with someone 4 months after he left me and he’s still with her 5 months later ,not sure if this is classed as a rebound

Still quite possibly a rebound. I knowly dated a woman on the rebound, got attached and fell in love. We were together 9 months before she cheated on me and left me. Point being, rebounds can last a long time.

My ex is currently on the rebound, it's been 8 months. I'm not worried at all though, because I know we still love each other.
