Majority of this game involves a LOT of reading and translating with morse code and hexadecimal (Which is why a pattern of numbers were playing when you called that number). As for the articles on Surf The Web, you must click on all of the numbers in order from the articles. You will know that you've done it right once the numbers make a "Click" sound.
this game truly is good. brings back ddlc memories with searching files to find combinations to unlock more lore within a computer. proper cool concept.

There will get the other half of the link, delete the ending characters that are identical to the starting characters of the second half to get the actual link.

I really hate how the developer used the Windows Longhorn sound effects... Just like the PS1 boot-up, most people seem to love it, but it scared the crap out of me when I was younger. My dad knew that, and still blasted it through the speakers whenever he turned his PC on or off.
I have theorie. I think the boy is Jumping Julian. Remember in the first video when it was a green stick man and behind him was a red one that traped him it a computer? Maybe the green stick man was the boy, Julian. And I am thinking that the company that makes theese games use souls of people. Thats why, the caracters always gonna ask about the afterlife and death. Tgey are trapped. (And i think the red stickman is the one that i think u can see his face on the wallpaper)
398? It said 798 on mine, the text was very hard to read and the qr codes didn't work. I don't know, because I love the idea and I really wanted to like it but it honestly just didn't hit. The scares were too obvious with no real build in tension, just expected jump scares that did not scare. The red face over the bluescreen gave me a little feeling of something, but that was it. There are too many numbers that make finding out what to put into the modem dialer unclear. It would have been better if it had a natural progression, but instead it plays more like an arg with no clear ending or goals. It's just kind of mundane tasks while trying to simulate a computer from 98 (it doesn't do it that well but its fine) with random jumpscares and some hidden numbers that you have to try to figure out what to do with, which is tedious. I suppose if you've never played something like this it might be more interesting, but knowing this was a horror game going into it just made everything very expected and predictable. I knew there would be hidden numbers when I inverted the photo, I knew the text on the document was hexidecimal and the pay off wasn't really there, just some short bit of lore. Something about gary summers, a car crash, little hints throughout with callbacks to the crash. Idk, I appreciate the effort from the creator, but I think next time he should take these things into account and really go for it. You need to do things that are unexpected, the name popping up was cool, but everything else has been done a million times. It's like it took elements from other horror games, and then just redid them in a different package. I just can't recommend it personally because at no point was I really entertained or intrigued and I definitely wasn't scared at any point or even creeped out. Maybe it's meant more for kids idk, I had high hopes, but there was just too much breaking the immersion. Going to the hidden videos displayed the comment section of people talking about the game and spoilers etc. The comments should have been disabled as it immediately took me out of any vibe the game tried to build. I have a pretty good idea for something not done before, but on the off chance I ever learn how to do it myself, I think ill keep that idea, but I have a few in the pocket.
