- I had a lot of positive feedback with the last 30 minute segment of fishing I uploaded from you guys so thought I’d do one during a tournament! This happens to be a 30 minute segment from Day 2 of the KBF National Championship on Kentucky Lake. The other reason I wanted to upload this was because it will take me a little while to edit/upload the rest of the tournament footage since I’ve been gone for 2 weeks. I actually prefer these unedited videos, it can become easy to think that everyone is catching all the time and this brings more reality into it. PLEASE do some more.
I Iike this style of filming. It's pretty much reality kayak fishing.
These 30 min videos are great! The pedal response and turning radius of that boat is incredible! I'd have to do a full circle plus tons of back pedaling with my boat in many of the instances recorded here.
Greg I saw your video where you was fishing the chartruses KVD square bill. So I went and bought a couple and note a crankbait is my least confidence bait. I went fishing bout a 2 hours ago and caught 2 five pounder 5 1-2 pounders and a bunch of dinks. Because of you I love that bait now thanks greg.
All I kept thinking was " throw a Rat-L-Trap " Great video Greg. Best to do more of these so the average angler can relate to the struggles tooTight Lines 🎣
I was thinking the same thing. Try other baits? Use the electronics? Hunt the fish?

Hey Greg. I enjoy these type of vids as you do. I like seeing how people work their baits and their thought process during different conditions and why they decide to use or change certain baits. I also enjoy these type of vids when you do them on the delta because I fish the same waters.

Kind of surprised to not see you throwing a jerkbait. This time of year on KY Lake is jerkbait time, even on cloudy pre-front conditions. Second favorite would be a rock plowing crank running the 6-8 ft range.

don cooper he will have to collaborate with others big fishing RUclipsr like lunkers and lake fork to help bring viewers to his channel. Just my opinion because look at how much Scott Martin blew up to over 200k subs just being around 1rod, lunkers, lfg

What type of knot did you use when you tied on the square bill?
Got that same rod. Love it but it chipped when I caught my second 20lb striper. Dobyns was great about replacing it though with their no hassle warranty.

was a tough week out there. I met you on the water in the big sandy on Tuesday when the weather was really bad. You were headed back in and we were in the hobies. Tough day one and two but still managed the fish. Sucks you placed just out the money man.
