When my local authorities wanted me for a few felonies they were kind enough to send me the summons in the mail. I showed up for court at the date with counsel and took care of the problem. Case closed. The IRS once sent me ten grand out of the blue unexpectedly. We sent them a letter. They sent us a letter. We returned the money. No telephone calls ever. In my life time time of dealing with authorities they have never called me on the phone.
These same people help Nigerian royalty move large sums of money out of the country and still believe in Santa. Who in their right mind would think they were wanted for something and have the police chief call them?
I don't know how they do it but they call u from the police station number,they almost got me,Indians called me talking about my Amazon account but I gave them a wrong name and they said they find my account and from there I know it was a scam
