I really wanted to get this but the general mixed to poor reception has had me second guessing myself from buying this. Wheel support is spotty as well. I’m going to wait for patches before buying this. Another game released without proper game testing….
I can see the game running really badly from this video, it keeps stopping for a bit and no way should it do that on a PS5 and the pedestrian AI looks dodgy too, it's a shame because graphically it looks really nice but not optimised properly at all.
I always wonder: what the hell is happening with the game industry? The Tiktok generation? Lack of money? I always eat my part of the ''existencial crisis'' whenever i see bad productions, let's say. Because, you as a developer, recreates, at least in theory, the whole city of Barcelona, which for me is incredible. Even if they could have use some kind of 3d scanner, a lot of work would have to be done anyway. You have to set up the traffic network, 3d models and everything. It's not easy. But in the end, you bring something very unfinished and with no depth. Of course they're not dumb, they can clearly see the issues. But seems to me those games were create not to look poor at the first glance, but not too complicated after the two hours of testing has passed and you realized you commited a mistake. The last Saints Row is a great example of depression, deception and so on. But the difference with S.R, is that we knew it would be a crap months before the release. Of course i'm not a game developer, but we, as potential clientes, we recognize when something can be good or bad. For what i've seen, it's not and other people won't thrown their money away. Doesn't matter what, most of the games today are like this. Some of them are money grabbers. Some users said this same company created a train game before and just forgot about it just 7 months after it was released. Also, if you complain about stuff on their Discord channel, you get a mute ban for some days. So i expect nothing good. This is not the first neither the last one. I could also mention Cities Skylines 2, which is a sad game, where they didn't finished the game base, but then released some ''correction patches'', which added missing parts of the game you expected to be there since the day one.
Bought It Today And Sat Infront Of My Wheel By Being Ready For It. But The Thing is my Logitech g29 isn’t working. I am being wtf right now. (Ps5 version)
Could you test it to bc on certain car games when you use a wheel it will show a wheel but for me it shows a controller so maybe the game thinks I’m using a controller?

Yeah it's a shame. I've seen some PC footage and it looks a lot smooher, but still hampered by dodgy AI. - Chris

Oh wow, the pedestrians in this game act just like the pedestrians by OSU. Very realistic lol
so the best thing u should do is just do taxi missions in gta :))
