I see your point, but may I point out if your strap is tight than the weight distribution should be more on the top. That's were the strap is anchored.
Nathan Greer holy necro-post. So the company did send the piece they said they would. I was able to flip all three bars around and it's 10x more stable. Also pulls the weapon tighter into the roof.
