I bought one of these years ago from guitar center. I use it as a radio. I have two JBL 15s. They can't handle this amp. It is very powerful. I need more speakers for it.

I have 4-cerwin vega ab-36c, 2 each in stereo. Is this amp applicable to this setup? Thanks.

+Aleneski Kalashnikova To power your four Cerwin-Vega subs, you would need two RMX4050a power amps. Each sub runs at 800 watts RMS and 8 ohms, and the RMC4050a puts out 850 watts per side at 8 ohms.

Hi christopher! They are almost identical Amps. The QSC MX3000a, QSC EX4000, JBL MPA 1100, MPX 1200 are also the same circuit design with some differences in signal lights in the front or input section.
The RMX4050HD(a) now feature toroidal transformers and a better cooling for better 2 ohm Performance. So, if you have experience with the older QSCs MX3000 you are good with a 4050HD. I have the 4050HD(a) and JBL MPA1100. 4050 stays cooler with low impedances.
      Hope this helps :-)
