"Every note rings individually, instead of stepping on the heels of the note that came before." That's so aptly put, and corresponds with my own experience using the Banjo Bolster. Thanks for reviewing this marvelous product, which is proving to be such a help for pulling out pleasing tones.
Agreed. Bought one and love it. Use it on my banjo with resonator back. Noticed my digital tuner jumps around less when tuning. Notes are more spot-on. Thanks to the makers.
Saw Tom Collins review of this product as well, I think Im sold. But I have to ask what is that first tune your playing? Heard it but cant recall the name.
I had to go back and listen ;-) The very first thing that I just noodled a line of was Banjo Tramp. Then I was playing Quince Dillon’s High D (but in C!) and I probably (without planning or thinking about it) played it because it covers 2 whole octaves.)

Yes! I could really hear the difference with and without the bolster on cello banjo. Thanks for sharing.
Sounds good, Hilarie especially on the Cello Banjo. The clarity is good, and the banjo still can ring out and sustain. Nice.....
So much more clarity of the fundamental note on the cello banjo! Also the hammer-on notes have more authority.
Thank you for the demo! Gonna try one out..Thank you Hilarie.
Love the sound. Nice, smooth playin'.
Dang that cello banjo sounds so good
After seeing Tom's review I got one as well. Works great and give it a big thumbs up. Who made your cello banjo?
