1:09 This Fatality is by far the Best one for Ermac that is a solid 10 out of 10, the way he pulls out and sucks the Soul of the Opponent was outright Terrifying, it's not just an ordinary Death though, this was Fate worse than Death by being trapped into Ermac's Body for all Eternity where there is no Afterlife like Heaven or Hell, pretty freaking Extreme.
@@wikipediaintellectual7088 I guess we saw Shang do it so many times it didn't hit for me. It's not like it doesn't make sense for Ermac but he always seems to have one fatality way better than the other. Everyone seems to be 50/50 on it though
@@Kn1ghtborne I'm more upset that this Shang doesn't really use soul magic yet, but I guess the team didn't want everyone including Johnny Cage using some variant of Soul Magic. I do think that the Mummy take on the soul steal is pretty unique in MK, though.
His second fatality is way more brutal. Having having your soul getting devoured by Ermac and you have to live in his body for life with other souls. That's a fate worse than death.
The first fatality is average to below average. Quick and gruesome. 5.5 Second one puts a better spin on his power through a perspective we haven't seen. Its gruesome but the thought of losing your soul in such a horrifying fashion is what makes it. 7.5
Completely disagree. You guys have a very boring eye for what's "Cool". The first fatality looks painful AF and it's creepy how he dismembers you. The second fatality is just a soul rip... Literally just a soul rip.
@@Kn1ghtborne We have legitimately NEVER seen have their soul stolen like that in a Mortal Kombat fatality before. The most we've seen is some kind of green energy or essence. We've never seen a 100% physical and animated manifestation of the soul until now. It's one the most creative things that they've done with Ermac in over a decade.
Ermac is very fun in this game. As for his fatalities, I give him a 8/10 for the first one. Second one I give him a 8/10 as well. I feel like there should’ve been more dismemberment. But I like the ending of it though.
You are a PS2 era MK old head huh? They've legitimately never animated anything like the 2nd fatal before. That's the kind of creativity we actually need with Ermac instead of him just picking up characters and tearing them up. The first fatal starts out cool but then it becomes completely cartoonish and makes no anatomical sense. You can't take it seriously because the character just gets turned into a meat ball with build up that does not imply Ermac is going to do that to the opponent. They legit "ran out of ideas" during the 1st fatal not the 2nd.

I hate his first fatality. It’s terrible and goofy in the wrong way. The second finisher is drawn out and I hate that dumb goofy meme face but the idea of the fatality is cool and something I’ve always wanted. A lot better. Speed it up and get rid of that dumb face and it’s a 10/10
