The informative and inclusive nature of these videos is so satisfying. Your thoroughness and level of preparation, or "knolling" ( I think I used it properly), make your videos easy to follow and comprehend. Although I have no experience in the field of bladesmithing, I feel as if though you provide the viewer with that sense of familiarity in how you approach the points you are trying to convey. After watching, I feel like I have learned something. If you ask a teacher, I am sure they will tell you it can be difficult to present people with information in a way that they will remember what they have learned. Your approach lends itself to successfully presenting information to others in a way it will be retained. Bravo, sir. Not to make this essay much longer, but I really enjoyed this episode and felt very much a part of these processes I saw. Thank you, Jens, for your hard work and for giving back to us in such a rewarding way. Till next time, keep knolling.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments. I do all this because of my passion and it makes me so happy to hear that it is well received and that you have learned something from my videos.
Really glad to see you doing RUclips videos. I’m a great admirer of your work and thoroughly enjoyed your videos. Thanks for sharing your knowledge & processes.
That was awesome to watch and I learned a couple new things behind your assembly process. The knives you create are always beautifully done and I can't wait to see more content on your channel! Cheers from Texas!
It’s so cool to see the other side of the knife making process, not just the finished product, the steps you take to make a beautiful knife as well as the making sure it can be used is incredible. The old school tools that you use and repurpose is probably my favorite part, like the belt surface grinder and the ancient anodizing machine. Keep up the amazing work! I hope to own a Monte Carlo one day!
I think one of the reasons I enjoy the repurposed and old tools is I decided to give them life again and it tells a story. Often modern shop bought tools are boring and often of worse quality then old tools....Gotta love tools! :) Glad you enjoyed the videos
Nice videos ! Hope that you will continue doing it ! What do you suggest for somebody who is interested in CNC maching but don't have enough skills like you didn't have when you started. Learn all this things at the beggining or find somebody who has mastered CNC machining ?
Thank you! I plan on doing these for a long time….! I would suggest you try and find someone you can visit…possible get some things machined….would give you an idea of what is possible fort you….CNC machining is one big sink hole for money but once you are in it is amazing….

That is soo nice to see all these steps. It's impossible to picture all the work involved just looking at the finished product. Great videos!
