Wow. I absolutely love your bar and library. I am only a recent whiskey aficianado (about 3 years or so) despite being in my fifties. I must say you do know how to live sir !!!
I have a bottle or two of all the main liquors, but I only collect Bourbon. My personal spending limit on a bottle is $75, so everything I have is affordable juice. Of the 15 bottles of bourbon on my bar today I am currently sipping on wild turkey long branch and 1792 small batch. This rotates quite a bit though. Nice looking bar you've got there. 👍

Man I'd never leave my cave there! haha My wife randomly scored my first bottle of Blanton's yesterday for 69.99. Was shocked at the price as where I live it typically sells for 120-150ish, if you can even find it. It's super tough here to find. I'm a big fan of Woodford Double Oak. Still looking to add an EHT to my stash but again the same issue I am having is finding it here. Love the shelves with the treasures from around the globe. I too have a bunch of stuff as such I pick up from traveling. Thanks for sharing Scott!

Sone - this latest relatively modest collection has been growing over the past eight years. I have a friend in London who has over 300 bottles in his collection of single malt scotch that he has been accumulating over his entire life.
@@ScottUrbach that is awesome. I can't seem to accumulate bottles since its so expensive and I tend consume a bottle and replace it. It's definitely an expensive "hobby" if you'd call it that.
I have. We are the fourth owners. First was an early industrialist who ran a radiator company. Second was former MI Lt. Gov and Ambassador to Belgium (Alger) and third was a woman who lived here for over 40 yrs.
Michel I agree completely that direct sunlight would be an issue. Since the accent lights for the cabinet are only on during those rare occasions when we have people over - certainly not in the last year - I don't think there is much risk. Thanks for watching.

That 1792 is a very nice bourbon. Had some recently and have put it on my list to add to the collection. Just need to find some room for it!
