This was common practice in the 70's and 80's with RnB, funk and pop records and resulted in the songs being tuned slightly sharp of the key they were recorded in.

Are you sure about those 2 intro chords? Don't get me wrong, they definitely work but I tuned my guitar to the record and tried playing em but it didn't sound 100%, maybe I couldn't hear it. Idk, genuinely asking. Thank you, much appreciated 🙏
