Her and the other girls death affected me a lot, it destroyed me completely to know these beautiful young women dreams shattered that day. Not a fan of basketball but this was so tragic.

What really kills me is seeing how big and bright Kobe and Vanessa's smiles are when they talk about their kids. I've seen my mom smile the same way at me and my siblings. I've seen my friends smile like that with their kids. This is absolutely heartbreaking. It hurts to watch this.

It’s heartbreaking as a parent who always wants to protect their kids, realizing that in that moment there was really nothing they could do. If there was a way to just save the children even at their own expense, Kobe and the rest of the parents on the helicopter wouldn’t hesitate. Kobe didn’t care about his death, he was prob devastated that Gigi’s was highly possible (same for the other parents). It’s heartbreaking as a parent who always wants to protect their kids, realizing that in that moment there was really nothing they could do. If there was a way to just save the children even at their own expense, Kobe and the rest of the parents on the helicopter wouldn’t hesitate.
