I'm leaning towards the paint being awful more then the sculpt. though saying that I can't see any custom versions of those figures where they repainted the heads to be more movie like .
I’m not sure why McFarlane loves to use such cheap paint. It’s like when you use old model paint. It’s in most of their lines with the exception of DC Multiverse. But I gotta give it to “The Todd Father.” He keeps his prices low thank goodness.
I wish they’d make more figures in this line. But it’s been like 3 years so I’m guessing they won’t. The old 7 inch neca Harry Potter figures have become expensive & rare/hard to find unfortunately. I wanted to get Lucius Malfoy & Hagrid & others in the line. Maybe even characters that have died like Cedric (Robert Pattinson’s character) just to recreate moments from the movies. This line is such a missed opportunity
The Bendyfigs line is making Harry Potter figures now. Harry Potter’s action figure switch companies & lines like it’s going out of style 😭
I honestly miss the McFarlane Toys Halo figures. When I used to make action figure videos, I had one with a spartan in it.
I never experienced their Halo line. But I’m assuming it was better than these
