@@CPUspeed There's a route from SJ to Monterey which also goes through the redwoods. It was one of my first rides on the same bike (2019 model). I haven't ridden it in about 2 years. I'm thinking it's time to get back on that iron horse. (Just been super busy homesteading, first 5 years are always tough, then once you're set, it's all maintenance). Forgot to mention, be careful out in CA, it's changed dramatically in the last couple years. More dangerous than ever before. Drivers have gotten worse, somehow, and crime is up significantly. Don't ride without a "problem solver" (that's what I call the 2x3 I have in the car).
My buddies are all old roadracers and the only thing they ride on the street is a bicycle. But seriously the fun with group rides is intercomms and I am just not wired up with that kind of gear.
Cheers from Portugal!
Yes Portugal home of awesome canyon carving roads.
I did Sir Francis Drake on my Dragster RR...bitchin ride!...I will do it again...
Yea I miss the Bay Area. Next time I am going to skip Hwy1 and just go up 101 to Marin and ride around there.
