You can stow away the cargo cover with the spare. Just have to pop out the side panels off, place it in there (it's shaped for it) and then pop the panels back on. I have the Onxy XT and prefer the back without the cover blocking stuff.
Question: I purchased the Limited 2024 standard non-turbo after 10 years with my 2015. Does the 2024 have lower mpg? Seems I'm getting 3-5 less with and empty car & crossbar stowed
@@kippywylie there is a difference on the highway and in town of 1MPG, with a combined MPG that is the same. I couldn't tell you why you're getting a different economy between the two. Are you doing the math every fill up, or just going by the trip computer?
@@TysonTheSubaruSpecialist I'm simply looking at the trip computer, so I thunk next I'll write stuff down and do some math. Another question: Both the infotainment screen and the speedometer screen have mpg guesses.... Why are they never telling the same mpg?
@@TysonTheSubaruSpecialist I'm not sure but only to say I've only had my 2024 Limited since July and have never set a trip B yet. I'll add that sometimes with the infotainment mpg read it's down as low as 12mpg when I've just started the car for short city drives. So maybe it grabs a smaller sample?
Tot Tom tends to go silent out of the blue on our 2024 Outback Wilderness. Any idea why & how to prevent it? We've gone into the menu & made sure the nav volume isn't turned off.
That's very odd. I can't say that I've come across that before - has your dealer done an audio update to your vehicle recently? It might need one for the software.
We're going back this weekend to ask, and to also look at another Outback or maybe Forester. My ML350 Benz SUV is 10 years old, I love it, but might make sense to have 2 Subaru's I just don't like Subaru's infotainment system (TpmTom) so we'll see,. Thx@@TysonTheSubaruSpecialist
Dealer told us Subaru will be discontinuing Nav in a couple of years. I won't miss it. My 10 yr old Benz's system is clearly superior to TomTom. If only Subaru would discontinue auto start/stop too.
@LS-ti6jo I can see most manufacturers doing that as almost everyone has a Smart Phone now, but I can't say that I've read anything official about that.
@@TysonTheSubaruSpecialist Do you have a problem with the Bluetooth becoming disconnected from the car? Mine works fine one minute and the next minute it disconnects.
@@teresabolick7321 I don't really use Bluetooth on the lot cars - I can't say that any of my other clients have experienced that, though. Does the Tom Tom map update automatically every year?
It does not, you must update it yourself/have the dealership do it.
How do you shut off the seatbelt ring? I have a FW23. Great review by the way

It's only standard on the Premier XT, it's an accessory in every other trim.
