Man I used to watch your channel all the time! A true legend in the rc community. I saved my money up to buy this drone when i was about 9 after watching this video over and over again. Sadly i lost it in a tree immediately after flying it outside for the first time. I was devastated 😂
I`ve had mine for about 2 months. It still flies great, never had to change the props. Don`t use prop-guards. The battery still works like new. I had a Cheerson CX10 and this flies just as good in my opinion. This is well worth the $16.99 I paid for it. Great for inside flying! Can`t go wrong buying this one!
Mine jus arrived today, and this thing is awesome! The short thumb pads are adressed with having including sticks! I first flew it stock because I was very excited. After taking a look at the some of the extras, I was very relieved to find sticks because it just makes its so much better! Very fun quad to fly, and it seems that it is meant to fly with the extras on. So far so good! Love this quad!
Ryan, This was a great demo you did, I've watched several different reviews for pocket drones. I started with the quark as a impulse buy then came across your video thankfully, after a lot of research and many videos I decided as a beginner to go with the fq777-124 and it honestly flys like a dream, I am having a little trouble getting it to hover without moving left to right, but this thing flys exactly as shown and explained right out of the box. Mine actually came with pinch sticks to replace the little sticks that are difficult to use. Keep doin this because it is very very helpful - Im looking to get really good with this before upgrading to a bigger camera drone haha. Thanks again for your reviews!
+Brett Bishop Glad you find my reviews helpful! The drifting you mentioned sounds like it could be normal... quads will always drifting around a bit, without GPS, and the smaller they are, the more prone to that they are.
Great review. I prefer this over the cx-10. It's now my fav indoor flyer. I find it's less twitchier than the cx-10, more durable and I like that if you let go the controls it doesn't have the momentum of the cx-10 and pulls up quicker.
This one is my second nanocopter. I was waiting for you to review this but i couldnt wait and ordered anyway :D Yes , just like you , i too get confused with the lights considering my first nano copter was CX-10. Since my CX-10 doesnt fly well , I went ahead ordered this one. One of the main reason choosing this one was all-in-one package. Extra blades , landing legs , prop guard and compact size. But I think CX-10 did fly better but just by a bit. Removing the prop guards can be a pain at times. Though they fit securely but removing them aint that easy.
Flyin' Ryan you inspired my love for quadcopters. I watched your video on accident and loved it (good work by the way :) ) so I bought this quad: FQ777-124 Pocket Drone and it is an awesome little Nano quad. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
+Fullgamer Productions Glad to hear that! :D If you don't mind me asking, how did you come across my video on accident? Just curious about what ways my videos are reaching new audiences. :)
+Flyin' Ryan RC I was looking up Helicopter tests because I used to fly helicopters (and I still do a little bit) and your video about a quadcopter came up so I was curious about it and I watched it, loved it, then bought the quad. Thanks again! :)
+John Wedrall Thanks! It's nice to hear that, because you would not believe how many negative comments I get about my kitchen, because it's an old and small house, and people can't tell how clean my kitchen actually is. :( And I've been flying for about 10 years, mostly indoors, so I've gotten quite good at flying in small areas. And that also helps me show the model off on camera better by keeping it close to the camera, and well-lit. :)
The landing gear are sweet...like a nano X5C. The two sets of props = awesome, if only all micros and nanos did this. Too bad about the transmitter sticks, I'm to the point of no longer dealing with thumb pads. Another perfect review by Ryan.
omgoodness!! I just received it in 3 days after ordering it through Amazon prime. this little nano is amazing! it's so easy to fly! I don't know why but I feel it's easier to control than my syma x5c-2. I bought a 9.00 3000 mah portable charger with 2.1a and it charges it ready to fly in like 5 minutes! thanks for your awesome review. it was my deciding factor.. and also the second quad I bought based off of you and frequent flyers reviews... the second being the syma x11 hornet. :)
+Bokushingu Hmm, the charging source shouldn't affect the charge speed at all... that is determined by the charger. And, a faster charge is actually a bad thing when it comes to overall battery life... fast charging will kill the battery. Glad you're liking it though, and that my reviews helped in your choices! :)
+Flyin' Ryan RC hmm I'll charge it to just regular USB port to see how long it takes. thank you for the advice on the batteries; I'll be careful with incorrect charging. I actually got into this hobby as a recommendation by a sport psych friend to increase my hand eye coordination and mental focus for my main sport, which is Kendo--Japanese Fencing... this is much better than video games.
best mosquito drone especially on the night flying with high speed, the led is awesome :D event mjx x800/syma x5hw speed loose to this one in outdoor :D charge +-20minutes for +-4,5 minutes fly :D Price is Rp. 200.000 Indonesia OR $16
This is strange but last night I tried binding again and it worked no problem! The ONLY different thins I did was to turn on the quad first and then the transmitter. Would that make a difference? I don't know but that is the only thing I changed, After watching a lot of your reviews, I noticed that you turn on the quad first so I tried it and it worked. Regardless of the reason, it works fine now so I'm happy again. Go figure!!!
+John Bunegru Yeah, I have found that tends to work better, even though for hobby-grade RCs it is recommended to turn on the transmitter first. I think maybe if you turn on the transmitter first, there is a tendency for them to get confused by other 2.4ghz signal (like WiFi) in the air, or something like that.
Just to let anyone interested know, i got one of these delivered today and it now seems to include swappable long control sticks so there are very few cons to this little drone now. Must have watched your review Ryan.
Just impulse brought one of these, because it does mode 1, not sure if mine is a later version but you can switch it now between mode 1 and mode 2, basically hold the throttle stick push button as you power up the Tx for mode 1, and turn the Tx upside down!! It now also comes with sticks for pinchers, or just for more res. I find it flies better than the CX10, and the price has gone up...which I usually find means its a good product (my smallbolt boat has doubled in price, so no longer a bargain ). In short, I'm very happy with it. it's usurped my q4 in about 30 seconds ;-)
I just picked up one of these today in the mall and it does indeed come with peg style sticks to replace the little flat type pegs. They were located in the back of the transmitter.
My wfie got this for me on xmas. I love it. The landing gear comes off pretty easy. Mine may be a rip off version because it came in a white box that said maid in china. I clicked on your vid because I was trying to figure out the model. It hovers really well till you get down to half the battery. Then i need to increase a little more throttle. I didn't even know it turned! The throttle stick moves up and down very easy I didnt know it moved left to right.
Next to the CX10, the crowd seems to like this one better than you do, Ryan. And all for $16! Sounds like it's worth ordering just for the helluvit. (And I'm glad to see that Elsie is well stocked with canned food...)
+Powell Scott I don't see this as being obviously better, or worse, than the CX-10... they seem quite similar to me. That being said, that means that I do like this quad, especially the way it stores inside the transmitter. The short sticks being hard to use for a pincher like me is really the only major negative. :) (Hehe, I had just recently stocked the food... and I also have another cat, so all that food isn't just for Elsie alone. lol)
Michael Gray okay left stick turn then full forward while keeping it in the air with the left stick, or you can left stick turn either left or right and use full left input or full right input on the right stick or even forward and right or left full inputs. I hope I explained that well enough.
Michael Gray just remember to make sure you have plenty of room and I tend to yaw or left stick spin it then add the pitch and roll commands so it doesn't drift as badly.
Loved it while it worked. Really fast and fun. But a seemingly unimportant tiny piece broke off and now one motor doesn't work at all. Really bummed! Only had two flights.
Fixed it. Extended the antenna outside the body's frame which increased the range and increased overall performance. This initial damage was my fault, not a defect in the drone itself. My only complaint, which is minimal, is the fact that the instructions are written in broken english and you actually have to turn on the DRONE FIRST in order to sync it. But overall it's a damn good little flyer. My absolute favorite of the microdrones so far. Fast as hell!
They've upgraded the pack with replacement sticks for the controller as well as all the other stuff now. Just got mine from banggood for about $10 including shipping.
I have the same and have no problems with it. funny little drone. only, if my lights go flashing, after exact 5 minutes, I've to hurry up for a landing place (my first drone). for usual I'm a heli guy but even there small. 120 size and a rex 250 pro from align (3GX). this birds you can not smash in a corner, unless you want to spend a lot of time on your workingbench. Good Luck!
this is the one I order and got it order from ebay so yea can't wait to check it out and see this will be my first drone so I figure I start small and see if I like it or nt all the reviews sounds amazing I paid 20.00 with shipping and should be here early next week
Hi Ryan, I found out last night that Tmart.com also carries this copter under the name Fuqi FQ777-124. Appears to be the exact same copter and sells for $18.99. I just ordered one in red. The control sticks appear to be a tad longer also from what I can see in the picture but I'm not positive.
I will try replacing the batteries that I installed just in case they may be bad. They are new batteries but you never know. I'm at work right now so I will have to do that tomorrow or later tonight when I get home.
Hi Ryan. I just came across a new version of this quad copter. It’s the FQ777 124+ model. It has a swappable 200 MAH battery. Big battery for a nano. Also has a very large LED in the front.Hard to find one in the USA just ordered one from China. You should check it out. Nick
Here just 13.29 USD www.banggood.com/FQ777-124-Pocket-Drone-4CH-6Axis-Gyro-Quadcopter-With-Switchable-Controller-RTF-p-977881.html?p=B4200913385416201708 Sweet ruclips.net/video/qJ2_sldRdws/видео.html
Best little package ever, only thing I have changed are the thumb pads. I have used the cheerson pads much better.I find with the prop guards it fly's much better for me. Always take it along when traveling, lots of fun at the airport while waiting too board the flight. People wanting too know where too buy it.
I have this one and it's my go to backpack micro. It flies surprisingly well for it's size. The controller sticks aren't so great, but I took off the button sticks and super glued some standoffs in their place. A good mod. ;-)
+John Wedrall Keep at it, and before you know it, it'll be like second nature. :) Kind of like riding a bike... takes some practice, but once you "get it", it becomes completely natural. :)
This one, and the S1102 are my favorites, something about that controller storage. I even have a ASID S6 (syma clone?) that came with a nice storage case which i modified to hold a small usb battery bank. I even keep one in my trunk now, it gets used most randomly!
Mine is called "Tech Toys Aerodrone" but is exactly the same as the one in this video. So, this is just a re-branded, common micro-quad which is common with many drones.Mine came with stick extensions that you can trade for the knobs if you wish. But they forgot my charging plug that goes into the controller. This quad was confusing for me getting started, and too sensitive & twitchy on throttle. Overly-sensitive has been my experience with most micro-drones.
Bought this based on your review. I thought you had said it had hoover mode but it doesn't. must have been a different review - no biggie. landing legs prevent hitting motors. mine came with two extra sticks so you can change to pinch type. doesn't come with screwdriver and you need one to install the batteries! also, you have to take it apart to store in controller/case. the internal charge cable is a nice idea but you have to leave the drone hanging out to charge. would be good if you could pack it up in controller/case and let it charge. then when done charging just turn off the controller switch. this way it doesn't overcharge and you can move on knowing it's charged the next time you pull it out.
I retract my statement about not wanting another done lol. This one's cool😎. I wonder if I put a gi joe machine gun on the front like a military done if it would effect the flight too bad..🤔
Yes, just got a couple of these today. Fortunately I've been flying with my thumbs since 1973 so there is no problem there. I'm not sure about the directions for charging this little unit with the transmitter, i.e. do you have to turn the transmitter on? Just putting them together so I haven't had a flight on one them. Just waiting for it to charge. Good video!
Yes, I believe you have to turn on the transmitter. You can verify that by connecting the quad with the Tx off, and see if the charging light turns on or not. :)
+Ronen Aknin I don't recall off the top of my head, but I likely covered those features in the review. I know for sure I covered how to make it flip. Not sure about return, because I usually brush over that sort of feature, as it is entirely unreliable and I don't suggest using it at all.
I know why they put the landing legs on it: Because it looks like a tiny SymaX5 like that! It makes it 13-17% cuter. Very complete little kit. Good flyer too. Overall this seems like a really great value!
This is really a cool little quad! I saw a different pair of control sticks that suit punchers better on Bang Good. Just uploaded a video on the drone today! :)
+John Bunegru Right, but did you fly it after the first successful bind? And then if so, maybe it didn't recharge properly, so it's actually dead, and that's keeping it from binding?
My mother got it for me as a house-warming gift. I have no idea where she got it... she shops at strange little stores, and flea markets, so it might even be a one-off for all I know. :)
Makes me wonder what the FQ777 label really means. I have this small foldable drone I bought from Eachine not long ago because it looked cool and I wanted something to fly for fun while my other drones batteries charge and it's also prefaced with FQ777, I assumed that it was part of their brand series but apparently it shows up all over the place...
So what do you recommend??...cx-10 or sbego 124 pocket drone??...in your opinion.btw nice review I watch this many time just to make sure that I will buy it or not....I need you suggestion
They are very similar. I guess the main difference is whether or not you want to be able to store the drone in the controller, and have the accessories like the prop guard, etc.
+Flyin Ryan RC Can you do one on the 1501 Space Predator? It's a micro and it's 18 bucks. It's actually pretty nice looking and flies good, very good protection and I think it may make it to your top 5 quadcopters of all time.
I can't get mine to work. My 5 yr old lost the thing that looks like 4 round somethings that attaches to it. Is that what's making it not work?!?! We also don't have the charger that came with it. It's charged it's had the green light and a red flashing light. That beeps
im getting alot of stuff I want for Christmas here if i get what I want from my dad my mom and step dad may not come to my room cuz of all the quads and stuff
I was in the process of trying to trim it out on the first flight but ended up with a hairball in one of the props so I had to stop to clean the prop so I shut everything off. When I try to restart to continue the flight it wouldn't bind.
Nice review :) I really liked mine. I bought it on a whim right when it came out, however it is becoming one of my most popular videos quickly :P It is in the recommended videos here below yours so I feel accomplished ;P
I got one of these a few years ago but I never really use it because it always drifts to the right. I've tried trimming it but nothing really seems to help.
Hi Ryan, I just received my FQ777 and now they include stick extensions. Only problem I have is trying to get the radio to bind with the quad. I just hope it's not defective. It did bind once but not again. :O(
Yes, I am 100% sure that the batteries are good. It did bind once but that was it. Every other time I try to bind again it wouldn't. I just hope that I don't have a dude on my hands.
Anyone else got optional sticks with it? I ordered two of these in black and in white. The black one had optional sticks in the bag where the extra props are etc.. White one had no optional sticks:) Even though i'm not a pincher, the super low thumb pads are pain in the arse to fly, Too touchy for me at least.
+Flyin' Ryan RC Ok cool! I like this nano the best cause it has lot of things for the buck. It flys good and the best thing is that the transmitter is fairly large. Those tiny tx's that usually comes with nanos are awkward to fly for grown man's hands:) Keep up the good work on reviews ryan!
haha i just watched that video a minute before you linked it, i learn alot from your videos. but the quadcopter you suggested is not on banggoods site anymore and i cant use other sites where they have them because of payment methods. What other quadcopter would you recommend?
just got mine today, its my first quadcopter, it doesn't seem to fly flat with no control input. I've done all the fine tuning stuff that it says in the manual and nothing seems to make a difference. Anyone else had this problem? what did you do?
I got one for 13 dollars but it did not have the charging cord to charge off the controller and it could only be charged by pc.plus with every crash the props would fly off took it back.

+Flyin' Ryan RC Your welcome!:)
I have the black one and I love it. I fly it the most out of my little guys. nice review man, thanks for your efforts.
I like your voice. Your voice is so calm
Thanks! :)
Mine also came with a mini screwdriver to unscrew the top to put the battery’s in
They now come with pinchers, my 1st quad :3
Thanks for the review man, I love them :D
Did you order from banggood?
you keep a nice, tidy and clean kitchen. plus you can fly quads very nicely in a limited space. Cool

Yep i'm going to have to get one of these, tight enough funnel turns to fly indoors for me!
+Anthony Eaglebarger (toysoldier46552), I have a stupid question: How do you get it to funnel?
Michael Gray okay left stick turn then full forward while keeping it in the air with the left stick, or you can left stick turn either left or right and use full left input or full right input on the right stick or even forward and right or left full inputs. I hope I explained that well enough.
will try it tomorrow

Hi Ryan. I just came across a new version of this quad copter. It’s the FQ777 124+ model. It has a swappable 200 MAH battery. Big battery for a nano. Also has a very large LED in the front.Hard to find one in the USA just ordered one from China. You should check it out. Nick
wow this costs only 14 bucks? I expected it to cost way more, considering how advanced the controller is.
xxBlackpspxx no that's the micro drone atom 1.0,the one in the video is pretty much the same thing
well the atom 1.0 costs a lot the one in the video is the same but cheaper
Here just 13.29 USD

At Walmart’s website for a limited time they have it for about $10 just $4/$5 cheaper
Best little package ever, only thing I have changed are the thumb pads. I have used the cheerson pads much better.I find with the prop guards it fly's much better for me. Always take it along when traveling, lots of fun at the airport while waiting too board the flight. People wanting too know where too buy it.
Great video that is a good idea a nice little package with everything you need for some fun flying yep that's cool thanks for sharing.
I have this one and it's my go to backpack micro. It flies surprisingly well for it's size. The controller sticks aren't so great, but I took off the button sticks and super glued some standoffs in their place. A good mod. ;-)
+MrSatoV This now comes with optional sticks. I ordered them separately, as they now sell them as spares. :)
+Flyin' Ryan RC Cool! How do they attach? Hmm, I'll have to check that out! Good to have several anyway, in case they come off as mine did.
thanks for acknowledging my comment. my kitchen is the same as yours but I can't get a quad three feet high without crashing. not giving up through!
+John Wedrall Keep at it, and before you know it, it'll be like second nature. :) Kind of like riding a bike... takes some practice, but once you "get it", it becomes completely natural. :)
I will try because I like this sport. Thanks :)
awesome review as usual
This one, and the S1102 are my favorites, something about that controller storage.
I even have a ASID S6 (syma clone?) that came with a nice storage case which i modified to hold a small
usb battery bank.
I even keep one in my trunk now, it gets used most randomly!
i have one of these! its awesome!!
this could be my first nano very nice kit..And other fine review.
Yes I love mini quads that let you charge it in the case itself
Thanks for the review!!
I have the exact some one
Ive been hoping you would reveiw it. 😀
The funny thing is
I was just about to ask you if you could do a review on it:)
+hicoteo I agree. :) As for hover mode, I don't think there are any nanos with altitude hold, yet.
Has that helipad been on the cutting board this whole time?
+Chris Fariello For a few months, or so. ;)
THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO.
I retract my statement about not wanting another done lol. This one's cool😎. I wonder if I put a gi joe machine gun on the front like a military done if it would effect the flight too bad..🤔
+TrueHoodEnt If it's light enough, it shouldn't make a difference. You wouldn't be able to store the quad in the transmitter if you did that though.
i absolutely love this one. my fav nano. better than cx-10 !
+Ashish Amatya Agreed, the cx10 is hella twitchy and drifts a lot
It also has a neat carrying case!
+markybyeah Define hella

You're everwhere following me on RUclips. Kindly piss off
Jeff Valentine
Go play with your paper plane or something..
Love your videos man
Thanks! :)
It's a cute little thing
I personally think it flies better than the cx10. I have two of these and a cx10. These are more stable and less twitchy in my opinion.
That's awesome!
2022!! I just found an extra one i got back in the day. Brand new. yeeehaaaw!
grear review. few questions:1. how you make flip? 2. How to use the return home feature?
+Ronen Aknin I don't recall off the top of my head, but I likely covered those features in the review. I know for sure I covered how to make it flip. Not sure about return, because I usually brush over that sort of feature, as it is entirely unreliable and I don't suggest using it at all.
thnx
My mom said i can have one in chrismas yay!!!!!!!!
My bro got me one
+JoshyPlaysMC (JoshyVlogs) lucky!
thanks for helping me out, I subscribed!
+aka Barry Thanks! And I'm glad to help. :)
I know why they put the landing legs on it: Because it looks like a tiny SymaX5 like that! It makes it 13-17% cuter.
Very complete little kit. Good flyer too.
Overall this seems like a really great value!
+Michael Thompson "13-17% cuter" LOL, nice! :D
Hi my drone is tilting towards one side and I've trimmed it. Can you tell me the right wings sequence or any other troubleshooting method. Thanks
Best drone with super protection
This is really a cool little quad! I saw a different pair of control sticks that suit punchers better on Bang Good. Just uploaded a video on the drone today! :)
For the part where it hit the light good thing it had the protectors for the blades so it doesn't break
Yes. I charge all my new quads and helis before I fly just to be sure everything is fully charged and ready to go.
+John Bunegru Right, but did you fly it after the first successful bind? And then if so, maybe it didn't recharge properly, so it's actually dead, and that's keeping it from binding?
Hi Ryan, great review!
If you would compare this one to the Pocket XQ100 which you've reviewed earlier, which one is the winner and why?
+Tha Justice I'd say this one is the winner, since it comes with accessories that you can also store in the transmitter.
Ordered one of these a few days ago..looking forward to playing with it. Ryan, where did get your fish lamp? That is too cool, lol.
My mother got it for me as a house-warming gift. I have no idea where she got it... she shops at strange little stores, and flea markets, so it might even be a one-off for all I know. :)
Thanks Ryan!
Yeah, no idea... good question!
please, what is the battery duration?
*SORRY FOR ENGLISH*
+Hiper Espada Including the battery warning, it should be 5-6 minutes.

@@theimacman thank you for rensponsing!!...happy fun flying😊
Helped me a lot tx m8 :)
Glad to help. :)
Any chance that you can do a review on the MingHui M302 4 Channel Infrared Remote Heli? I would like to hear what you think of it.
Just bought 2, today! 😊😊
What would you recommend mini drone , which is the best ? cx -10 ? pocket drone ?
The size is very small of the quadcopter but very fast
+Flyin Ryan RC Can you do one on the 1501 Space Predator? It's a micro and it's 18 bucks. It's actually pretty nice looking and flies good, very good protection and I think it may make it to your top 5 quadcopters of all time.
Nice tight funnels. Thanks for sharing.
im totally getting this..
Wow I've never seen someone fly a cheap drone that impressively!
+Jake Marino Thanks! :)
Nice review :) I really liked mine. I bought it on a whim right when it came out, however it is becoming one of my most popular videos quickly :P It is in the recommended videos here below yours so I feel accomplished ;P
+The RCAddict Haha awesome! :D
I got one of these a few years ago but I never really use it because it always drifts to the right. I've tried trimming it but nothing really seems to help.
You kind of sound like Chief Hopper from Stranger Things.
Hi Ryan,
I just received my FQ777 and now they include stick extensions. Only problem I have is trying to get the radio to bind with the quad. I just hope it's not defective. It did bind once but not again. :O(
+John Bunegru Are you sure the batteries in the radio are good?
remember having one of these when I was a lil kid shit thrown In the garbage got a DJI mini 3 pro now so I’m straight but man nostalgia times fr
Damn it! I just bought two of these for the office and I forgot to use your link! Sorry!
+Alberto Noys No worries! Thanks for the thought though. :)
Yes, I am 100% sure that the batteries are good. It did bind once but that was it. Every other time I try to bind again it wouldn't. I just hope that I don't have a dude on my hands.
+John Bunegru That's very odd. Are you sure the quad is charged?
Anyone else got optional sticks with it? I ordered two of these in black and in white. The black one had optional sticks in the bag where the extra props are etc.. White one had no optional sticks:) Even though i'm not a pincher, the super low thumb pads are pain in the arse to fly, Too touchy for me at least.
+sledgehammer1570 Apparently newer production runs include sticks now, so you must've gotten one new one, and one old one.
+aka Barry Something like the Syma X5C would be a good one to learn on, if you have some outdoor flying space.
just got mine today, its my first quadcopter, it doesn't seem to fly flat with no control input. I've done all the fine tuning stuff that it says in the manual and nothing seems to make a difference. Anyone else had this problem? what did you do?
I've got one today and inside they do longer sticks
I got one for 13 dollars but it did not have the charging cord to charge off the controller and it could only be charged by pc.plus with every crash the props would fly off took it back.
