Amazing video my friend, I learned a lot and your oshi no ko ending review made me rethink my feelings about it. Great job, can’t wait to see more videos from you😼
gets a lot of hate online unfortunately 😭I hope I did a good job of explaining that I ain't in love with the ending but that it aint deserve the amount of hate it gets 😭
Appreciate you taking time to do long form videos consedering your work-life balance. And damn I need to catch up to oshi no ko its been months since I last read it ( chapter 133 ) 😂😅
W video, I tried to put this on in the background while I got school done, ended up learning more about Oshi No Ko than anatomy 🤣 Btw, are you gonna do a monthly request post?
I enjoyed the video. I am rather mixed on Oshi no Ko to be honest. I was someone who began the manga before the anime was ever announced (or at least before I knew it was getting an anime, I don't remember that firmly), so I've been following the series for a long time. So, I will begin with one of the things I like about the ending. I loved Aqua's conclusion. I think it was perfect for his character considering the fact that he pushed away any and all help, so him dying alone is perfect. I am neutral on Kana's character. Akane is the same. One of my problems is Ruby. I think her role in the story was rather disappointing. I think if her role was bigger, the ending would have been more impactful. Of course, I think a big problem is the pacing with the final arc in general that made the ending not as good as it could have been. My biggest problem is definitely Hikaru. His character felt kind of all over the place at times, and it felt like there wasn't a clear goal. I think shoving his entire character in the final arc was a mistake, and there should have been some of the stuff in earlier arcs. But once more, that comes down to pacing issues as well. Do I regret reading the series? Definitely not. I think it was most certainly worth reading because it did a lot of good in the earlier arcs. In general, it was certainly a ride. Whether I think about the manga in the future like I do with other works, I don't know. I think only time will tell at this point.
I can definitely respect that opinion, I don't talk about it in the video but the whole Hikaru thing is one I agree with completely condensing the big bad villains role into a single arc isn't great in hindsight. As for Ruby, I'm mostly mixed on her but I definitely think that she coulda been a stronger character with another arc or 2, appreciate you remainin respectful 🤝
@@CantOverDoIt I think being respectful about other's opinions is something that should just be a courtesy by everyone that scales writing or discusses it because of the subjectiveness that comes from it. So even if I disagree with other people's takes, I try to understand them and respect them. And if an understanding cannot be reached, you should at least have the respect part. I know I definitely have works/characters that people would think I scale way higher than I should, or the opposite. So I think it would just be hypocritical if I didn't give respect.
@@Zolaris-mx8lm bro has my mindset, I know I scale Monika way higher than most but being able to hold common human decency in any discussion should be a given and it's crazy to me that that isn't normally the case especially on the interwebs 😭
@@CantOverDoIt For me it's probably my current top 3: Saul/Jimmy, Subaru, and Rika. I scale them to an absurdly high degree. I wish that respecting other people's opinions was more common on the internet. Alas, only some people follow the idea.
I actually liked losing heroines my fav being kana idk it just felt so relaxing i already have it's LN in my list Yup katt alone is worth reading wonder lab for, it's a good read atleast as for LC my fav was ayin and after playing LOR this hasn't changed ayin & angela have become some of the best characters for me in fiction, planning to start Limbus soon Have only read 2 vols of TP and already love it, i actually love gore so that's a added bonus for me, my fav character is hina No comment about death game since i haven't even read it Yup vol 9 of roshidere was great especially for yuki (i mean it was already obvious from the cover) and the backstory's for most people just gave this vol the chef's kiss it needed I personally think the ending was good but that's it, i fully agree with "a story that doesn't have a good ending is bad" those who say otherwise don't know what a good story is oshi no ko started with tragedy and ended with one as well still leaving the ending aside the manga is really good Looking forward to those 100 character edit parts
Yeah Makeine was good and normally wouldnt be last just had bad competition 😭 excited to see what you think of TP vol 3 tho, second best vol of the series for me so far ✍️🔥
