I am from India and started making barbie crochet dresses for my daughter during the covid lockdowns. She thoroughly enjoys dressing them up. Thank you so much for sharing these videos and making them so simple. Can u also make barbie shoes? Maybe just simple ones but something to complete the look with the dresses😀♥️
Thankyou for your wonderful patterns and tutorials. You make it easy to follow along with your clear pictures, and row by row Instructions. I hope things get better and you are able to post new content soon.
Thanks you Jennifer, I hope to post more videos, but right now I am taking care of my 92 year old mom which is a full time job. I do miss crocheting & making the videos but will get back to it soon. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it!
Thank you so much for your awesome tutorials. You make it so easy for me to follow. So far I crocheted 2 dresses and on my 3rd dress thanks to your videos.
Thank you so much! This is the pattern that is the start of almost every dress pattern that I have designed, so you can use this video to do the 1st part & then choose one of my new dress videos that are coming soon in order to complete the new dress. That way I do not have to re-write this same pattern on every video. Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it!
Thanks for your channel, all your tutorials are awesome, not to long not to short, really great explanation, plus the designs are beautifull, greetings from Tijuana, Mexico

1:45 What? I didn't know that we make Barbie dolls here in my country Indonesia? 😲 I used to have three original Barbie dolls in the late 80s to early 90s, but they're all Santa Claus presents from the oil company (Caltex) where my father worked at. I heard Barbie dolls were pretty expensive in my country back then...so I was lucky. Too bad I don't know where those dolls are now...
@@MiMisCrochetCorner I bought two cheaper Barbies after writing this comment, and so far I've made three dresses each from your channel, thank you! ❤ I want to make lots of them in various styles and yarns, and then present the dolls to my beloved niece! 😄👍
Hi,Your video is easy to follow, but My dress is coming out way to big for my 1960’s Barbie, how do I take some stitches away and keep the count accurate to make the dress fit? Thankyou

The pattern is printed in the video, you can write it down if that would be better or pause it while you do it, I find that to be a good way, hope this helps. Thanks for watching my videos I really appreciate it.
Hi there, I love your video style. I purchased #10 Thread but it seems thinner than what you are using on video. Do you ever use any other size thread?
I use Hobby Lobby's Egyptian #10 Cotton called Artiste. I only use this thread for my clothes. I hope that helps. You can always change the size of the hook to make the pattern fit if your crocheting is too tight like mine is or too loose.

Hi Noemi, it depends on the dress you want to make, this is just the basic part of the top of the dress, go to this video to see how the back is done starting at 35 mins to see how to connect the backs at ruclips.net/video/kuT4xgeWHX4/видео.html hope that helps.
Do the first three rows then measure it around the waist so that it overlaps 4 stitches just like it shows on the video. If this fits then your hook is the right size, if it is too big then change your hook to a smaller size to get this to fit the waist. I use a #2 (2.25mm) hook & the Egyptian #10 cotton thread & I crochet tight so if you crochet to loose it might be too big so go to a smaller hook & crochet a little tighter. As long as it fits the waist it will fit every where else so keep trying different sizes of hooks until you get the right fit. Hope that helps
could you please make the clothes in video and not only photos with instructions? it would be easier for people who are newbie in this world of crochet and also dont understand instructions in english. thanks :)
Hi Vivian, I am so sorry but I take care of my 92 year old mom full time so this is the only way I have found to get out my designs without making 45-60 minute videos which is very time consuming, time I no longer have. If you know how to crochet the basic stitches you can make the clothes & if there is a special stitch you can find it on youtube to see how to make it. You can see this video I did that will give you an idea of how to do the clothes, most all the dresses are made like this only with different stitches on the skirt part & I will let you know where to find the stitch so you can see how to do it. Hope that helps! ruclips.net/video/kuT4xgeWHX4/видео.html

How do you close the back? New at making barbie clothes
@@ashlynn2211 I’m sorry I’m not able to help you. This was my mom’s channel, and she recently passed away.
thank you for sharing
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching my videos I really appreciate it!
This a very beautiful pattern, but why did you start from the bottom?
Can you share a pattern for a 38” tall Barbie
How do you attach this at the back?

This top is too big for my made to move barbie.. if I decrease the chain how would I change the rest of the design? Thanks!!
