I really didn't want to dignify your comment with a response, because it Jas an aroma of self-hate. However, it is a teachable moment.
Fundamentally, she said her dad is Nigerian... is he not a person?!?! No one had to teach her in the video how to demolish that fufu and Egusi. She dug in comfortable enough to suggest, this isn't her first time.
And, yes! She is born with it!! Our collective DNA has embedded memory, due to centuries of tradition, conjoined with that of that of our resilience in recent ones.
Lastly, In Africa, most parts - you are where your father is from. So, Nigerians in these comments will call her... Nigerian.

@@qutieqouture6846 I never said she was not Nigerian, she is and I can no longer see the comment as the owner seems to have deleted it but Amayah is pretty American and I believe she was trying to say that it was sort of obvious that she was Nigerian. Amayah herself said in the video that she hasn’t been exposed to any Nigerian culture before if I’m not mistaken. What do you mean by self hate? I love where I come from okay? And I’ve been following Amayah’s family on youtube for years now so I definitely meant no harm to her in my comment. I don’t know why you took it so personal.
I’ve noticed that Nigerians like reaching when it comes to videos like this and it seemed like a really far reach to say that this girl who has not been exposed to Nigerian culture until now and who we wouldn’t have known was Nigerian if she didn’t say it (considering she grew up with American culture) exudes ‘Nigerianness’
I watched the video and I enjoyed it, I just found the comment funny

@@qutieqouture6846 This was a while back but I just saw that I even liked the comment above and a lot of other comments about how we never knew she was Nigerian and all that.
