    Current model of business running around the world is not sustainable..development and growth is the parameters at the cost of poor employees.

    so they're saying they're gonna take production and distribution away from the DIYers and nail technicians and jewelers and pivot back to luxury only

    • @cheriemarr3382
      @cheriemarr3382 3 года назад +6

      Which makes no sense to me as, in my opinion, they probably sell more to the DIYers, etc... than they sell figurines, etc...

    Swarovski’s success is closelytiedtotourism. Look around for tourists and you’ll understand their problems.

      No I worked for them. They did this to themselves. They’ve had year to create a fabulous digital presence. It’s merely good. Not good enough to entice the moneyed people. People will always find the money for items that make them feel good. This is an enormous fail.

    Creating and selling luxury goods while trying to release marketing campaigns to inflate its price doesn't really benefit society. So I don't see any problem with this. Other needed and beneficial sectors will take over, especially if a state steers the direction in that way.

    • @UnderTheMillkyWay
      @UnderTheMillkyWay 3 года назад

      Exactly. It will help other smaller businesses compete and make money. However Swarovski has already said some companies will still be able to buy those crystals but their name can't be on the tag. That's the most ridiculous part.

    what have we accomplished even after so much technological progress, so many people are sleeping roadside with an empty belly. basic food, water, and shelter must be provided to each member of society no matter how poor they are.

    I only collect their Crystal and have several hundred pieces which I have beautifully displayed . I’m not a fan of their jewelry because they don’t use precious metals.
    I believe swarovski has not been profitable because our world and ideals have changed. Beauty and collecting art is not popular with the Millennial/Gen Z generations. They would rather live in their parents basements and use their little earnings for traveling all over the world for “the experience.” 🙄
    Minimalism is also their thing. There’s no room for Swarovski collectibles in their world. Technology is their god. This is most unfortunate as Swarovski makes beautiful art.

      The product is what it is the experience you have buying it is what makes it a luxury.

    • @eduardochavacano
      @eduardochavacano 3 года назад +1

      You mean “soon”. Jesus did not give you the gift of communication. You can’t even spell. So in God’s most holy name, do something else for Jesus. Go bake cookies or plant lettuce and feed the hungry. Because clearly your purpose is not to preach. God forbids you to preach online. Because he wants you to use your talents. Writing is not your talent. You cant even spell. But the good lord gave you other gifts. Try baking croissant or bagel and feed your neighbors, Amen.

    Who's buying "Luxury Crystals" in a So Called Pandemic anyway?
    Is Crystal an Essential Item? Can you Eat Crystal? Can you Warm your House with Crystal?
    During a time of many Lockdowns and Non-Essential items not being sold to the public, why is this A Story?
