    There are several offshore company systems out there and what works for one person doesn't necessarily have to work for you as well.
    What you should do is analyze and understand your situation carefully and cherry-pick the right system for you:
    1:34 - Low tax system, present in countries like Bulgaria, Cyprus, Montenegro in Europe, as well as Labuan (Malaysia), Mauritius, etc. where tax goes around 9-10%;
    2:25 - Deferred tax, in countries like Georgia or Estonia, where you practically don't have to pay any tax as long as your money stays within your company and is being reinvested.
    However, if you want to take the money out of it, the tax can go up to 20%;
    4:07 - Exempt company system, characteristic for Hong Kong or Malta. Basically, if you follow certain rules you can potentially pay as little as zero tax;
    5:07 - Zero tax system in tax havens such as Belize, Seychelles, some of the UAE countries.

    Macedonia indeed has 0% corporate tax rate on reinvested profit and 15% on paid dividends (as of 2019, before was 10%), but also is worth to know that there are announcements from the government to decrease it to 3% for IT companies exclusively.

      I'm not sure that getting legal residence there is all that easy for a person who is not already a citizen of an EU country.... unless, of course, he's willing to shell out a lot of money (like around $585,000)

    I want to incorporate my business in Georgia, not necessarily for any tax benefits, but instead to give the Georgian government a good reason to let me stay on temporary, or permanent residence.

      @@dianadeejarvis7074 That's a great idea, I don't have the money to do that just yet as the minimum investment for that is U.S. $35,000 for temporary residence.

    Why would anyone do a country like Bulgaria when Hong Kong and UAE are cheaper regardless of how you handle the money? Only for the EU trade? If two countries is there any country that is just objectively better for business due to overwhelmingly lower taxes regardless of method?
