I'm not from the US so idk how it works there, but in my country my sister (lawyer who works in the gov) told me that The United Nations of Human Rights Council are always messing up with them about court cases and defending criminals, they're always trying to make things harder for everybody unless criminals get the most light sentence they can get. Literally serial k's or pdf don't get more than 12 years in prison because the Human Rights will be there to make everything harder and slow things down. I hate the Human Rights Council, literally destroying my country for no reason and the police or judges and anybody can't do anything about it, they're so powerful for some reason.

A life sentence in Canada doesn't mean "life" - it means after you have served 25 years of your "life" sentence you can apply for parole! Ludicrous!!!!!! I would worry that this guy would do like so many others who are diagnosed with serious mental illness as this man has been.....for some reason they stop taking their meds....could he do that one day? The guy on the bus savagely attacking the young man and doing the unthinkable is the most disturbing. It goes to show you know matter where you are, an evil person can claim your life. Seven years is a horrible insult. It reminds me of the young Ukrainian women reading her book on a train last year in the United States when a lunatic with a quick reaction ended her life.

I don't think they should be tortured or anything, or go without sunlight. Murder is evil yes, in terms of the mentally insane, they need to be rehabilitated or kept away to not hurt anyone or themselves.

    • @9Tailsfan

Not dangerous? Do you not know how bullets work? In a small enclosed space like a bus, bullets could ricochet off the metal parts . A stray bullet could hit an innocent person. Even if the bullets did strike the criminal there's no guarantee that the bullets will stay in the criminal. Sometimes they go right back out! What if one of the bullets struck the engine, the gas tank or hydraulic lines?

schizophrenia and similar conditions are a tough case. it's usually really not the person's fault. they think people are after them, they hear voices, they have a twisted view on reality, et cetera. it doesn't define these people, though. treatment can be effective in many of the cases, and the person can be part of society, again, if treated and well monitored. in the end incidents like these will still affect everyone involved, though

He saved his wife and child’s lives and pushed them out of the way as a car headed towards them full speed in the crosswalk and took the hit. His killer still hasn’t been caught. And the fact that Gene Kang was there covering his death in that very crosswalk when some other stupid loser caused an accident by hitting an innocent driver is what made the clip a big deal. I don’t know why OP didn’t include any of that context.

People are frightened to approach a nut case who has a knife. He could easily turn on them so out of fear, they did nothing! 😔

What I’ve gathered from this is that, men can commit the most heinous crimes, and still be free to get off and roam the streets.

7:00 Reporter: "She died right here in this exact place doing this exact thing" steps on corpse. How can the police be so utterly useless as to not look at the bottom of the river where she disapeared?

It’s a river, moving water. Bodies are buoyant and generally will move farther downstream

@ChesireHeart But in developed countries the first thing police do when a body go missing in water is drag the bottom. They don't say "well shit I guess she gone" and sit around with their thumb up their asses.

@MrViking69there were divers searching for her on other parts of the river. The Mearim river very large and the currents are strong. This incident with the reporter happened less than 24 hours after her disappearance.

13:27 yes sports and games in general are disappointing to lose at but going as far to kill someone over it is just the most petty thing ever. Like how can you be so obsessed and controlling over a game that you kill someone over it as if thats gonna change the outcome. Plus its your fault for having a gambling addiction, not the players.
