I really struggle painting and giving color to my digital art so this was an incredibly helpful video. I'm going to try this simple practice method right now!
I just stumbled across your video and love your approach!! My little one (10Years old) gets more interested in drawing, and he is definitly more interested in "real things" than in "boring shapes" even though I know that these skillset is important and need practice. He naturally starts drawing things like Donuts (with shading and all that) out of the blue... I love how curious he is, and how he wants to get better. I only wish there were more "cool drawing lessons" for Kids, as he got frustrated with all those super realistc shading tutorials or shape videos. By now he is just drawing with pencils on paper, but will have access to Digital (samsung) drawing soon :D DANKE
