- Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso's 2nd opening theme, in a very liberated arrangement style.
The original opening theme sounded really happy, and from the direction of the anime at the moment... I wanted to have an appropriate performance for it.
I have to say, I can completely relate to what's happening with the characters at the moment. If I lose my ability to play the piano and perform for people... I would be in a long depression state, because music means so much to me and to my life.
I'm sure you guys could relate to, even if it isn't music. Imagine your absolute favorite shows, and then losing your eyes, not being able to enjoy it anymore. It's a devastating thought.

That's because the Katakana borrowed word for Symphone is "SHINFONII .
Japanese people can't pronounce English words very well because they strictly follow the Japanese pronunciation of their letters,
for example "Ambassador" they will say "Ambasada".
^Exactly. It's like how Filipinos speak a thick accent and stresses certain parts when speaking English, it's because that's how they would sound if they speak in filipino. Ex. Action-Aksyon

I already love the original version. This is beyond beautiful!! It literally made me cry. And I love the show! Gave me a new passion for music.
Kaori is and forever will be such an inspiration to me in terms of her passion for music and life itself. A lot of people I know don't get it. It doesn't matter if it's a true or made up story. It's still heart wrenching and meaningful. I'll always admire Kaori.

Even when it's happy I just get reminded of EP 22 where it starts with the opening straightaway (angel beats style) because they KNOW you already know about Kaori's fate. That trick makes me cry whenever i hear Nanairo.

This is one of the best renditions of an anime song I've heard in my life.
I'm not exaggerating. I'm not using "in my life" here like so many people use it lightly, saying the same thing for another song they hear 5 minutes later. I really mean it. This is kind of cover that's so good you catch yourself humming when you least expect, because it pops up in your subconscious so often. The kind of cover that's superior to its original material many times over.
And it's not even due to any possible feels for the anime; I actually couldn't care less about this particular anime!

Another amazing cover ishter! I had an idea for you about what to do with MIDIs/sheets. I thought it was a great idea to put the MIDIs on patreon for your supporters, and I know I would instantly donate IF I could get a guarantee that you would put up EVERY MIDI on it (you haven't been to good about putting them in the descriptions like you promised ;)). Also, if you made sheets, you could actually sell them individually, as in charging a couple dollars for a download or something like that. I know I would buy almost every one! Thanks for keeping up the great work :D

Think its a tad hard with his current set up. We might see some i a few months if her gets a new piano. Just have to wait and see. Or if a influx of new backers drops in.
I'm with you guys tho, be a lot more motivation I think for players to back him if they saw it as a given. Rather then something to maybe come.

Douglas Jackson I was wondering, why doesn't he let us donate towards a certain piece of sheet music. For example, he leaves a donation page up for a week, and we reach the limit he sets... then maybe he could take some time to transcribe it. I mean, he'd get paid. ._.
[ EquesX ] main reason is that his first goal is 2k a month he's around 400 at the moment. It give less reason and hinder that goal. And I fully understand that.
He does not want to give focus till he knows it will pay off. After all he is a university student at the same time. He has gone on saying that a new piano would get backers midi at least and that's a comprises in itself I'm happy to see.
I read that too... but it'd be nice to get those sheets. I'm afraid he won't go back and transcribe all these pieces he's made since last July. ;_;

Man, I really want to learn how to play the ost you played in the latter half of the video. Truly beautiful. Ishter, I just started taking up piano. I am a freshman in college, so I often times lose interest in practicing, thinking that I really did start piano too late. I feel as though, because of the circumstances around me, and how long it'll truly take to get to the level I want to play at, I won't be able to achieve what I want for quite some time, regardless of the amount of practice I put in. However, at the end of the day, when I do practice, I find myself falling in love with the piano, the sounds I make using it, and just the way I can express my emotions through it. Whenever I get lazy and fall back into the routine of not wanting to go practice because I'm so far from my goals, I listen to some of your covers, as well as *****'s, and you both inspire me to keep on keeping on. Because 5 years from now, I can either still not be any better at piano, or I could potentially have 5 years of practice and experience behind my back. I pick the latter. I may be just starting now, at age 18, where most pianists my age have been playing for over 10 years, but you can be sure that by the time I'm 28, I will reach the goals I set for myself, through practice. I discover things about myself I didn't even know when I play piano. I love it. And I love the inspiration you give me. Thank you so much. Sorry for the long crazy comment, just felt like ranting some nonsense a bit. One day, I want to be able to play piano covers like you. When I listen to your cover of Colors, it inspires me even more (that's my favorite cover of yours, and one of my favorite songs of all time). Thank you for everything that you do.
