That is a beautiful bike , I ride a Marin alpine E 2 in the redwood forests , all mountain riding ,, I’ll be buying one of your bike’s early in 2025 after property taxes, homeowners insurance, and tax time , after reviewing all bikes on UTUBE you guys have the best bikes hands down
BEFORE ORDERING, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT CUSTOME ORDERS DO TAKE A WHILE TO GET, BUT ARE WORTH THE WAIT. A lot of people have complained about this and canceled there orders. Now Ecells is stuck with the deficit. Obviously, they won't have any problem getting those sold. Just sucks that people do that to small businesses
" Nice Job Nick very good on the specifications and good job putting the work in and explaining your personal experience on your test run with your riding style, enjoyed the post especially on the safety and handling points on a raging beast monster like the E-cells 3000 W MonStar, Wow 78.6 miles good ride Nick, Thank-you for Sharing your experience and milage challenge.
The saddle could be a bit more cushioning. Chain slap guard and I kind of wish the bars are adjustable or more cruiser like .. I know the bars need to be more under Control for safety and front wheel drive. But I would prefer more upright seating
Don't get me wrong, it's a great bike. A couple tweaks maybe. I would raise the handlebars and add a chain slap guard, maybe a better seat. But maybe someone like 5'9" will find the bar height fine. Will need to see when I buy one I guess😂
Great video! Where is the spare battery from? Is it the same battery that's on the website for the 5 Star (the only one I saw), or do the different models use different batteries?
Different models do use different batteries. However, rear battery on the Monstar is the same 60v 15Ah rear battery that we use on our Dual Star and Dual Step Star models, and that was used as a spare in this video.
@e-cells2222 Ah, I see. This brings up 2 more questions. Does E-Cells sell the spare battery? Also, how much does the Monstar weigh without both batteries? I believe I saw the Dual Star weighs about 83-85 pounds without the batteries.
Dave whats difference between the monstar vs triple crown? Weight difference? Both 3000w, one is 60v. Are both 40ah? Wish 50ah+. Im big at 62 250. I need bike with most range.ialways peddle but still average 1-1.5 miles per 1 ah.
It's hard to say. I don't have that many miles on the Triple Crown, probably less than 20 altogether. David Cleveland likes to say, when comparing the two, that the Triple Crown is more like a Cadillac and the Monstar is more like a Camaro. Nick
@e-cells2222 , I've tried to email the company, perhaps you can help please. Do E-Cells have any plans to ship to the UK 🇬🇧 ? I understand that there will be extra shipping costs added on. Thanks 😊
Everyone's riding style will be different. Not to mention other variables such as terrain, rider weight, cargo they're carrying, local traffic regulations etc. The point of this test was to show the maximum mileage you can expect when trying to preserve battery as much as possible.
30mph in pedal assist one !!! Omg. Love this bike. Game changer. Bravo David Cleveland. Gonna start saving $$$ for my ecells Monstar
Is that the upgraded handle bars??
@@VINTAGELIKE These are the handlebars that will come on the bike.
Nick it’s so great to see you doing this video! Wish I were there haha! Very good job!

Nice job Nick a awesome video filled with great information 😊
I like the name, very fitting! Impressive bike !
Awesome bike and well done! Definitely the ebike on my list!
Cost of bike is kind of in the ballpark. Due to the import fees. I might need to finance and make payments for 12 months to do a purchace.
Nice bike !!

@@Jamal_CHI Yes, we do sell spare batteries. The Monstar weighs 103lb without batteries.
Would it be crazy to go from LA to san diego with an ebike?

All the specs are available on our website. The Monstar will definitely give you more range.
Was the Monstar originally named the Triple Crown?
Monstar and Triple Crown are two different models.
Do you think e-cell bike will come out with a 60v 3,000-watt King's crown version of the Monstar? I'd appreciate the feedback if you know.
The Monstar and the Kings Crown are two different models. There are no plans for combining the two.

What size frames are there for the 3000 watt monstar
The Monstar only comes with 17" frame.

jet noise lol sounds powerful
How about a realistic test . Pas 4 /5 with a few flat outs.
