Namskar sir, Please take this positively. These are my personal views. 1. Vedas(Samhita, Brahmanas, Aranyakas, Upanishad) these are part of shruti literature, which were written 1000-500 BCE (though they existed earlier in oral forms) It is said that shruti literature(mainly vedas) was declared by god himself to the beings. Now the puranas, mahakavyas, vedangas, upaveda, dharmashashtra, and shad darshana(sankhya, yoga, nyaya, vaisheshika, mimansa, and vedanta) are a part of smriti literature which were written after 500 BCE. Smriti literature is not a thing that is declared by god himself but rather a commentary on the shruti literature. Due to the high practice of rituals(coming from vedas) and priestly domination, our Shramanas (truthseekers) developed 6 philosophies mainly coming from upnishads around and after 500 BCE namely Sankhya, Yoga, Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Mimansa and Vedanta. These philosophies gave a different path to achieve the real truth, i.e., Gyan-marga (coming from Upanishads) apart from the Karma-marga (coming from Ved Samhita+Brahmanas). Collectively, these philosophies are what we know today as Sanatana Dharma philosophies. Many heterodox philosophies like Buddhism, Jainism, Charwaka, Ajeevika, etc, are somehow coming from these schools of thought only. Acharya Prashant talks about advaita vedanta, which further is a part of vedanta philosophy. According to it Brahma(not one of the Tridevs) is the ultimate truth and atma(not the jeevatma/prakriti of an individual) is nothing but a part of Brahma rather it is Brahma in itself. Also, apart from Brahma, anything left is mithya(unreal). 2. You said that Bhagvada Gita talks about atma and rebirth. Actually, it's jeevatma, not atma, which is mentioned there, and it takes rebirth, which is not difficult to understand. Jeevatma is nothing but prakriti of an individual who takes rebirth. Let us understand this with a laymem example- Suppose your grandfather had a group of cows, the prakriti(naturality) of cows is to eat grass. We also know that the further generations of cows will also eat grass. If you say that it is the same cow that my grandfather herded 100 years ago just because it also eat grass or has the same black patch on back as that cow and claim that rebirth has taken place, it's very childish. Ultimately, rebirth has taken place but of jeevatma/prakriti (naturality) of that cow not of the atma of that cow. Now the question arises: What is Atma? It is nothing but the real truth(something which is unimaginable as said by previous sants), which every religion(or school of thought) talks about, but they have different media to achieve it. This was Acharya prashant's point when he said there is nothing like soul(he referred to jeevatma, not atma) and rebirth. Actually, there is a rebirth of jeevatma, which he didn't mention because he has already cleared that concept through the shloka of bhagvada gita. I'm not defending Acharya Prashant here but just expressing my views. Me too differ from his perspective sometimes, but that is something which is coming from vedic period (i.e., shashtrartha). But it's a request to you in the end that please research and clear your concepts before claiming anything about someone. He can also commit mistakes sometimes as he is a human, too, but you have to broaden your perspective, but this time, I think you are wrong. I hope you take this positively. I think the presenter has read some sections of Vedas & mostly preaches based on bhagvatam & bhagvadgita. He is pretty much convinced it was a divine intervention and that humans needed manual. For once, think of those as philsophies and then you realize there is so much room to adapt.

Hare Krishna You should continue making this kind of videos. As people needs to know more philosophical opinion. Otherwise these days everyone has their own opinion. However, very less people reference religious scriptures. From childhood I have been told that we can get all our philosophical answers from the Bhagavad Gita. But understanding Bhagavad Gita is not easy, doesn’t matter how much intelligence one may have to excel in this material world. We need people who don’t give their own opinion, but convey only Bhagavan Krishna’s 🙏massage.
I dont understand why you people think and propogate that impersonalist & atheistic philosophy is devilish in nature when i was in iskcon i too use to notice that in most of the commentries advait & nir-isvara-vada was highlighted as very negetive so that one should not have any jigyasa to know it or learn about it i use to fight with advaitis & shiva devotees too but later i realised when i came across genuine advaitis that what a fool i was that there are multiple philosophical views in our sanatan dharm and missing out to know about those gems.
@@user-vp6vw8kk2q You are Misinformed about Advaita. The Advaita is an adjective used for the Lord in Upanishads to say there is no one like him. It does not mean being that the Lord is formless only. Advaita philosophy is an adjective darshan, but Dvaita philosophy means objective perspective darshan, which literally means perspective there are many who achieved enlightenment through Dvaita darshan and there are not do many who achieved enlightenment through Advaita darshan, because it is hard to be enlightened by impersonal worship of the Lord. The enlightenment means realization of Supreme self and darshan means perspective that means you can conclude which is right and wrong, although Lord Krishna is in both Advaita and Dvaita philosophy, who wants Krishna can chose any perspective, it doesn't matter so much, the only thing matters is that the life will be easier in Bhakti marga i.e in devotional path because every bhakti darshan leads to Lord Krishna directly and if some Acharya does not think it is right then that simply means that darshan didn't work for them but it's immature to conclude what's right and wrong without experiencing either of these path. By the way, I have personally experienced the impersonal worship of the God before coming to bhakti line of worship, so I know which is better and easier. Hare Krishna 🙏

FYI - I belong to no group yet but I think only Iskon is present in 70+ counties and have successfully shown people the bright side of Sanatan Dharma. Without Iskon today the world would consider Hindus as barbaric who didn't even know celestial laws. If I ever wanted to join, I'd choose ISKON because there is no other option. Remember, if they insult, you can get back to them and they will even apologize. Instead of hating or disliking such a huge organizations., we have to see how they are uniting evryrone. Please take this positively. These are my personal views.
1. Vedas(Samhita, Brahmanas, Aranyakas, Upanishad) these are part of shruti literature, which were written 1000-500 BCE (though they existed earlier in oral forms)
It is said that shruti literature(mainly vedas) was declared by god himself to the beings.
Now the puranas, mahakavyas, vedangas, upaveda, dharmashashtra, and shad darshana(sankhya, yoga, nyaya, vaisheshika, mimansa, and vedanta) are a part of smriti literature which were written after 500 BCE.
Smriti literature is not a thing that is declared by god himself but rather a commentary on the shruti literature.
Due to the high practice of rituals(coming from vedas) and priestly domination, our Shramanas (truthseekers) developed 6 philosophies mainly coming from upnishads around and after 500 BCE namely Sankhya, Yoga, Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Mimansa and Vedanta. These philosophies gave a different path to achieve the real truth, i.e., Gyan-marga (coming from Upanishads) apart from the Karma-marga (coming from Ved Samhita+Brahmanas). Collectively, these philosophies are what we know today as Sanatana Dharma philosophies.
Many heterodox philosophies like Buddhism, Jainism, Charwaka, Ajeevika, etc, are somehow coming from these schools of thought only.
Acharya Prashant talks about advaita vedanta, which further is a part of vedanta philosophy.
According to it Brahma(not one of the Tridevs) is the ultimate truth and atma(not the jeevatma/prakriti of an individual) is nothing but a part of Brahma rather it is Brahma in itself. Also, apart from Brahma, anything left is mithya(unreal).
2. You said that Bhagvada Gita talks about atma and rebirth. Actually, it's jeevatma, not atma, which is mentioned there, and it takes rebirth, which is not difficult to understand.
Jeevatma is nothing but prakriti of an individual who takes rebirth. Let us understand this with a laymem example- Suppose your grandfather had a group of cows, the prakriti(naturality) of cows is to eat grass. We also know that the further generations of cows will also eat grass. If you say that it is the same cow that my grandfather herded 100 years ago just because it also eat grass or has the same black patch on back as that cow and claim that rebirth has taken place, it's very childish. Ultimately, rebirth has taken place but of jeevatma/prakriti (naturality) of that cow not of the atma of that cow. Now the question arises: What is Atma? It is nothing but the real truth(something which is unimaginable as said by previous sants), which every religion(or school of thought) talks about, but they have different media to achieve it.
This was Acharya prashant's point when he said there is nothing like soul(he referred to jeevatma, not atma) and rebirth.
Actually, there is a rebirth of jeevatma, which he didn't mention because he has already cleared that concept through the shloka of bhagvada gita.
I'm not defending Acharya Prashant here but just expressing my views. Me too differ from his perspective sometimes, but that is something which is coming from vedic period (i.e., shashtrartha).
But it's a request to you in the end that please research and clear your concepts before claiming anything about someone. He can also commit mistakes sometimes as he is a human, too, but you have to broaden your perspective, but this time, I think you are wrong. I hope you take this positively.

This verse clearly shows that the other Vedic literatures are the same as the Śruti themselves for they are directly coming from the Personality of Godhead Himself. They are the fifth Veda. There's a similar description in the Subāla Upaniṣad, where the Dharma-śāstras are also counted.

I think the presenter has read some sections of Vedas & mostly preaches based on bhagvatam & bhagvadgita. He is pretty much convinced it was a divine intervention and that humans needed manual. For once, think of those as philsophies and then you realize there is so much room to adapt.

However, very less people reference religious scriptures. From childhood I have been told that we can get all our philosophical answers from the Bhagavad Gita. But understanding Bhagavad Gita is not easy, doesn’t matter how much intelligence one may have to excel in this material world. I dont understand why you people think and propogate that impersonalist & atheistic philosophy is devilish in nature when i was in iskcon i too use to notice that in most of the commentries advait & nir-isvara-vada was highlighted as very negetive so that one should not have any jigyasa to know it or learn about it i use to fight with advaitis & shiva devotees too but later i realised when i came across genuine advaitis that what a fool i was that there are multiple philosophical views in our sanatan dharm and missing out to know about those gems.

The Advaita is an adjective used for the Lord in Upanishads to say there is no one like him. It does not mean being that the Lord is formless only.
Advaita philosophy is an adjective darshan, but Dvaita philosophy means objective perspective darshan, which literally means perspective there are many who achieved enlightenment through Dvaita darshan and there are not do many who achieved enlightenment through Advaita darshan, because it is hard to be enlightened by impersonal worship of the Lord. The enlightenment means realization of Supreme self and darshan means perspective that means you can conclude which is right and wrong, although Lord Krishna is in both Advaita and Dvaita philosophy, who wants Krishna can chose any perspective, it doesn't matter so much, the only thing matters is that the life will be easier in Bhakti marga i.e in devotional path because every bhakti darshan leads to Lord Krishna directly and if some Acharya does not think it is right then that simply means that darshan didn't work for them but it's immature to conclude what's right and wrong without experiencing either of these path.
By the way, I have personally experienced the impersonal worship of the God before coming to bhakti line of worship, so I know which is better and easier. Hare Krishna 🙏

FYI - I belong to no group yet but I think only Iskon is present in 70+ counties and have successfully shown people the bright side of Sanatan Dharma. Without Iskon today the world would consider Hindus as barbaric who didn't even know celestial laws.
If I ever wanted to join, I'd choose ISKON because there is no other option.
Remember, if they insult, you can get back to them and they will even apologize. Instead of hating or disliking such a huge organizations., we have to see how they are uniting evryrone.
You'll only hear bad about Iskon because so many people in the world don't want the people to show right path... If they are awake, they are of no use and they will lose slaves of the system...
