Can someone please give us a detailed description of each scene in this imaginary western based on the sound of each track? That would be amazing.
I'd love to see everyone's individual outline of this story. You don't have to go off of my track titles either, if the music takes you in a different direction.
@@StevenLynnMusic of course. I was thinking people would listen to each track and get a sense of the mood of the track. I’m not sure how it’s done in Hollywood, but I’m pretty sure the composer watches a rough cut of the footage they’ve filmed and then write a score for each individual scene. So in effect I’m asking the community to do the same thing but in reverse.
@@MrP392 Make it so!
Maybe we can use the album as a writing prompt and have a story competition or something (to be honest I hate competitions based on art though)
@@StevenLynnMusic I’m not much of a writer, but I’d love to read what others write.
To the person reading this, Good Luck! Don't stress, everything will be fine. No matter what difficulty you are facing right now, you can overcome it! You are strong and brave.
Much obliged, pardner.
thanks. I needed that ;-;
I’m fucking struggling. Cheers.
Thanks, pal. You too.
Love u bro
I remember not seeing this movie when I was a kid, back when it wasn’t in theaters
I wasn,t there either😄
Clever devil 😊
I don't remember that.
Me too :)
Yeah, man, nobody was talking about this movie. Seems like no one ever knew it didn’t exist.
"You know, Tommy, I ain't here for no social visit."
"Yeah, I figured. Don't suppose you wanna hear my side."
"Naw. Too late for that"
From what?
western music takes me back to elementary school so much. i had a teacher for like a month or two and he would make us close our eyes, listen to western music, then write a FULL story about anything the music made us thought about. it was so great. i dream about being a writer since then, and have always loved writing and creating stories. i miss that teacher.
All it takes is consistency, people start when they’re old and become successful writers so why not start now?
I just write for the enjoyment. I don't think anyone will ever read my work. I'm okay with that
Sounds like a truly amazing teacher!
You had a teacher for only a month or two...what happened after that??
so whats each scene that these songs belong to

Not as epic as riding around Tatooine in R2D2 with this on!

Also Ennio Morricone, specifically Once Upon a Time in the West, is also incredible. I highly suggest trying this soon

I played like a 2 hour long tribute to Ennio Morricone when I was playing that game.
Both the main theme for "The Rude, The Fat and The Snugly" and "For a Few Bitcoins More" on the same album. Impressive. Very nice ... let's see Paul Allen's soundtrack for an imaginary western.

Right off the bat I'm hearing a lot of Ennio Morricone influence. An excellent source of inspiration.
Not surprising considering Moriconne basically invented the genre

As someone who grew up playing Read Dead Redemption 1 and 2 this sounds like the perfect soundtrack for the 3rd game.

I haven’t felt this kind of excitement for an album in a long time.
Long days and pleasant nights everyone.
And may you have twice the number
An Arizonan, I admire how the main theme captures at once the gorgeous ancient majesty and austere immensity of the desert west. Towering canyon walls and distant, stoic mesas which command both amazement and dread, as the desert is a beautiful and nearly uninhabitable place, home only to those who are proficient, clever, or ruthless enough to endure it.

Beats to listen when you're reading Blood Meridian , RIP Cormac McCarthy
Killer book , killer author. Love Cormac, although don't know he died. Try this if you dare ! "Wraiths of a broken land", & "A Congregation of Jackals" both written by S. Craig Zahler ... You wont regret it.
I will find water where there is none, as the sounds of this album wrung and whispered through the morning breeze, the dry sand and sun twitched my nose into a sneeze as I fell on my knees and the earth opened up like a cut that bleeds... 💧water.
Thank you for the great music compilation that stirs my soul. Best western music since Ennio Morricone. Please continue your amazing work.

The video description told me you're a composer doing all kinds of interesting things, and it would be great if we could see you compose one of your tracks. No fancy edits needed, just watching over the shoulder of a master at work would be awesome.

45% of the way through this mix and I love every single second of it. Thank you 🙏
What a magnificent find. Part of me wishes there was actually a film to accompany these fantastic pieces of music, but that would probably ruin part of what makes them so special.
This is sooo good, I could see this being used as one of the many Ennio Morricone tracks that Quinten Tarantino sneaks into his movies!
Lovely work!
Tarantino is a total tosser that can't come up with anything original but to steal others ideas .... gets Morricone to score a film to try and bring credibilty Leone was the master Tarantino not even the shit on his shoes
The revolver is burning in his hands, thin strands of smoke rising slowly trough the air. The sun gleams on the gun, reflecting on the metal pockmarked with rust. Two bandidos are in the muck. The taller one is still wriggling, drawing angels in the damp ground of the city intersection while holding his hands on his belly. Francois is standing, the gun still pointed at the men. He's not sure if he did the right thing, but as sure as hell he don't care. The moving bandido is trying to crawl away, grasping the muck with his fingers. The young cow-puncher chambers another round and, as he was rudely awakened from a dream, moves suddenly with long steps to the dying man.
Thank you so much for this. I needed it.
The scene where Anne-Marie betrays Blackjack and Harper after the raid breaks my heart every time. The pain in Harper's eyes and the resignation in Blackjack's as he bleeds out says so much about both of them. Definitely one of the best heel-turns in westerns and one of the most complicated villains of the genre.

I'm writing it, amigo. For God, Country and Elmore Leonard. Your music bade me recall a brilliant true story of the old West. It deserves a film - because nobody would believe this man's life. I was going to share his name here - but better to keep it quiet.
I find your musical choices to be evocative and full of primal energy - they work!
The pieces can also frame individual characters thanks to your varied themes and arrangements. Excellent job.

Do you like blood meridian and the border trilogy by cormac McCarthy
@bammer150 this must be why i am getting this recommendation...i just started listening to the Blood Meridian story and the author yesterday for first time on RUclips.
Let's talk about Blood Meridian.
It is just as much torture to read about the hardships of its characters than it is for those characters to survive them. On and on its bleak nothingness spreads out towards the horizon.
It's brilliant in that way, just like The Road, but something about Blood Meridian forbids me from finishing it. It's plodding hell goes on like the beating of the western sun.
@@Kaxopilla i could see myself having some of the same feelings if i were reading the original. The fact i am watching it through this individuals perpective and or interpretation has intrigued me with the storyline.
