first hear Napalm Death at the age of13 years old, I listened to thrash but when I heard the hiding behind riff I was immediately hooked on Death and Grind, now I am a father of a family and I am 45 years old, the gods will always be the Napalm Death,
Same ages for me. I saw them on the TV documentary and knew exactly that they were making the sort of horrible noise I heard when I thought metal. None of the other available music was anywhere close.
First concert I attended in my life: Napalm Death and Protector playing at the Alte Feuerwache, Mannheim, Germany in ´88. Relevant back then, still relevant today, grindcore gods!
I absolutely wasn't into Death Metal and other Extreme Metal until just months ago, but I bought this year's Cannibal Corpse album and I think Napalm Death will be the next one.
I'm 43. Just started listening to more extreme music, death metal, black metal and such about a month ago. What do you suppose is going on? Why the adventuring into different sonic perspectives? I think for me its having access to the internet for the first time in 10 years ( I'm late to the party as usual,), and a desire to hear musicians that push themselves and try new and different techniques. Whatever. Its good stuff.
Napalm death returning to its Grindcore with Hardcore punk influence and D-beat type Discharge, how happy it makes me to hear this, the whole new album must be a kick in the face. 🖤💀
The new song by Voivod came out today and now this. Also both of them are releasing their newest albums on February 11th, 2022. This smells like the most awesome conspiracy ever by two of the greatest bands in my list!
@@tomaskostilek3572 Wow, that sounds like a dank night! Going to see Carcass next summer. I have seen Voivod in 2018 but Napalm Death is yet to be seen.
Someone sad that Barney voice is still great, but tbh, is incredibly great to see not just Barney but whole Napalm Death in good form, something rare to an band that exist for over 40 long years
Impressive, reminds me of days gone by. My hat is tipped to N.D. and all other bands that refuse to sell out. Love it. Can't wait to put this in my library. Hopefully it will be released on vinyl.
Throes of Joy is more than a year old now and I'm still listening to it 2-3 times a week. For me it was the album of the year 2020, despite my enthusiasm for usually much more moderate bands like Fates Warning, Armored Saint or Blue Öyster Cult who all delivered amazing works last year. This new track rocks, can't wait to hear the whole thing!
@@InfiniteSunLuciferDLarynx Barney sounded great on those groove albums. His voice has been going down hill since Enemy of the Music Business, that's why they drown it in distortion now
Holy fucking Fuck!!!! Been a ND Fan since 1989, now I´m 50 yrs......if anyone never fails it´s the Gods of Extrem Metal....Napalm Death will always be on top of things, obviously !
Been listening & a fan of ND since 91.. Barney surprises his audience throughout every album produce.. for a 50 year & still can pull a vocal chords of such, my utmost respect to him.. Napalm Death. Period.
This is probably their best track since "Hierarchies" on Apex Predator. It is interesting to hear the bass highlighted at the start of the song. Something for the want list!
As others have stated, today was an amazing day in the music world!! New Immolation, New Napalm Death, New Pyrexia, New Malignant Altar, and apparently new Voivoid! Us metal heads are being spoiled with greatness! Can’t wait for more good shit to release.
I had to be like 3 years old, when i discovered the "From enslavement to obliteration" album by napalm death on vinyl, i remember being given an old emerson all in one stereo with a built in turntable in it, and it still had a good needle on it, i grew up on carcass reek of putrefaction and napalm death from enslavement to obliteration on vinyl plus a whole shitload of other death metal albums, i have to say despite the napalm death lineup changes, this song here has the tones and speed of the from enslavement era to the utopia banished era, i love that old school sound in 2021.
I've never been into Grindcore and I definitely missed every work by them, but a friend of mine sent me this and.....holy shit this is SO fucking aggressive! Definitely gonna check them out more!
@@Nall412 The only thing close to it that I'm a fan is Old Fear Factory, and listening to a bit more of Napalm Death definitely made me feel at home hahah

Incredible how Barney's voice is still in good shape after all these years. Pure respect
I would even say he's better

same as me at 48 almost 49 am always more a metal punk steel head actually. i like it
Read that as 113, no surprise you'd of lived that long if that was the case
same here more or less(43). i love this band so much, plus great concerts.
the napalm death hahahah
That fucking bass, people don't understand how crazy good Shane is 🤘
Shane is a legend. How many bands has he been a part of at this point? 20 or more?
Furious.
Well he's a cardiac fan like me.
Yeah, i like his side project band TRONOS
These guys are still killing it right?? From day one gaddammit!
How is this even possible? They're better than ever!
That slight increase in speed got me going
going to the roots. hc punk influence all the way. gave me chicken skin and nipples all hard.
This is the ND I love. It's not a band, but a force of nature.
Furious track... These guys never stop killing it...
Only listening to Napalm Death calms the rage I feel against the injustices of this world...
And this is why I've been loving ND for over 30 years now... This is going to be on repeat for a long time
First concert I attended in my life: Napalm Death and Protector playing at the Alte Feuerwache, Mannheim, Germany in ´88. Relevant back then, still relevant today, grindcore gods!
@@LarsTragel-zh7ei Jealous ?
I was just looking at Mannheim in Bildern FB group with pics from 100+ years ago of the old Mannheim Feuerwache... crazy place!
I think he just wanted to say that the band and it's music are timeless but he probably just used google translate.^^
My first was in 1992 with OBITUARY,DISMEMBER
I absolutely wasn't into Death Metal and other Extreme Metal until just months ago, but I bought this year's Cannibal Corpse album and I think Napalm Death will be the next one.
that corpse albums ripped anus
Would say this is more grindcore than death metal

This is fucking Punk Rock bro .
Pure sonic assault. Can't wait to hear the whole mini-album. 🤘💀🤘
Not that good as this song. Actually it sucks as a whole

that's right :)
yeah man, and what about those blasts, pure trad grind fury
HC HC HC HC!!
yup, insane track.
wondering who played the guitars for this album , if that had any influence
This is the best Napalm track I've heard for a while.

@@tomaskostilek3572 Oh, I forgot: I saw Obituary in 2018 when they warmed up for Slayer. 🤘
At least the new Voivod song is killer. Napalm Death has sucked since the early 90's.
New Immolation and Pyrexia dropped lastnight.
you guys just keep giving us album after album of pummeling awesomeness! fuck yeah! love you cnts!

Always excited for new Napalm Death material
I’m amazed at how perfect this man’s vocals have stayed over the years
they're programmed into his throat
I don't like them that much any more, he has lost his death metal edge, and is just screaming and yelling.
You will like Johan Carlzon from Relevant Few and Abandon (Sweden)
@@psikopat57 That whole Groove Metal influence years back ruined a lot of good things about ND, if you ask me.

Holy Fack, that is some old school sounding Napalm Death. Groove and Grind in the same song! Niiiice. Its 1989 all over again.
This sounds f**kin' wonderful 😊!!
PERFECT marriage of D Beat & Grind.. ND always destroys 🤘🏽🔥

grindcore over my hole life and we don't give up!
Blinkly blonki blimey. Ace track.

Absolute banger of a track, Napalm Death never disappoints.

Brutal. Mind opening.
