    I really like this album a lot although it's not in my prog section.

    I find myself agreeing with you, because it's certainly the case that this album hasn't stood the test of time. Family were very much starting out at this time, and released much better albums before their final demise in 1973. I think Fearless and Bandstand are much more representative of their output. BTW thanks for reminding me of my first boyfriend who was a mega Family fan, and insisted on 2 minutes silence in the pub when they announced they were splitting up!

      That's one heck of a story for sure!
      And I feel like Family has to have better outputs than this because then I wouldn't understand what all the fuss is about :P

    Yeah, I'm with you on this one. It's a fairly fun listen whilst it's on, but like so much late 60's psych, for all its innovations there is a tweeness to it that makes it feel rather dated and keeps me from wanting to get to know it better. Still, it's one of those albums I've been aware of for years but never quite got around to actually checking out, so it's nice to finally tick it off the list.
